The 88-year-old husband of Queen Elizabeth II — who has official residences in London, Windsor and Scotland as well as a vast portfolio of property — lamented the demise of the quintessential English village.

“Villages used to have to be more or less self sufficient: they had a butcher, a baker, a shoemaker,” he said. “Now that has all gone because of the way retailing is concentrated in big centres and multi-stores.”

He complained that the huge increase in holiday home ownership, fuelled by a decade-long property and economic boom, at least until last year’s global financial crisis, had changed the make-up of communities around the country.

Wading into the highly contentious issue of climate change, he stressed the impact of population increase on the production of greenhouse gases.

“People go on about this carbon footprint, but they fail to realise that the amount of carbon going into the atmosphere is entirely dependent on the number of people living on the earth,” he said.

“There are now 60 million people living in this country and we are about the same land size as New Zealand — this country had three million people in Elizabeth I’s day” back in the 16th century, he added.

The Royal Society says grand-scale geoengineering schemes, like massive tree-planting campaigns or shooting sulfur into the atmosphere to block sunlight, may be needed to stop global warming.

Geoengineering may not be a last resort to fight global warming any longer – that is, if us humans can’t get our act together to reduce the carbon dioxide we’re pumping into the atmosphere.

That’s the warning that emerged from a Royal Society report published Tuesday. Grand, expensive and uncertain engineering projects – think installing carbon-scrubbing devices across continents or shooting aerosols into the atmosphere to block sunlight – may be humankind’s only shot at slowing man-made global warming, the report’s authors warn.

That’s because current efforts to reduce greenhouse gas emissions aren’t going far enough, the report’s authors contend.

The world needs to cut atmospheric carbon dioxide levels to half of what they were in 1990 by 2050, but right now, “Global efforts to reduce emissions have not yet been sufficiently successful to provide confidence that the reductions needed to avoid dangerous climate change will be achieved,” the report states.

“It is hoped that post-2012 emission reduction targets will stimulate greater action through more effective mechanisms,” the report went on, referring to the upcoming United Nations talks in Copenhagen to craft a carbon-reduction agreement to replace the Kyoto Protocol (see The Copenhagen Call: Biz Leaders Back GHG Reduction Efforts).

“But there is a serious risk that sufficient mitigation actions will not be introduced in time, despite the fact that the technologies required are both available and affordable,” the report stated.

So, while working toward a huge reduction in emissions, the world’s governments should be planning for ways to handle geoengineering projects, the report states.

Those fall into two camps. The first, carbon dioxide removal, involves everything from planting lots of trees to fertilizing the ocean to boost the growth of carbon dioxide-absorbing plankton (see Carbon Capture Firm Could Use the Ocean to Combat Global Warming).

That would get at the root of the problem of reducing atmospheric carbon dioxide, but is likely to be massively expensive and complicated, the report noted. Of the available choices, ocean fertilization held some of the greatest potential for negative side effects, the report noted.

The second technique, solar-radiation management, could be cheaper and faster, the report states. Solar-radiation management includes such schemes as pumping sulfur into the stratosphere to force the same kind of global cooling that has occurred after massive volcanic eruptions (see Green Light post).

It could also include projects like painting lots of building roofs white to reflect more sunlight back into space – an idea that’s gotten the backing of Energy Secretary Steven Chu, among others.

But such sunlight-blocking schemes don’t deal directly with carbon dioxide in the atmosphere, and carry the risks of unknown and possible catastrophic side effects, the report warns. Thus, they should only be used if absolutely necessary, the report stated.

Given the challenge facing the globe, geoengineering concepts of all stripes have been getting more serious attention from important parties, including the Obama administration, the Wall Street Journal reports.

Geoengineering will certainly require an unprecedented level of international cooperation, first on researching which ones will work the best and then on spending the billions of dollars needed to implement them, the report found.

The Obama administration is quietly dusting off an effort to impose new federal quarantine regulations, which were vigorously resisted by civil liberties organizations and the airline industry when the rules were first proposed by the Bush administration nearly four years ago.

White House officials aren’t saying what their rules might ultimately require. But the previous administration proposed giving the federal government the authority to order a “provisional quarantine” of three business days — or up to six calendar days — for those suspected of having swine flu or other illnesses listed in a presidential executive order.

The Bush-era proposal would also have required airlines and cruise lines to store more information about domestic and international passengers, such as e-mail addresses, traveling companions and return flight information. The information would be subject to review by federal officials in a health emergency, though it would be voluntary for passengers to provide the data.

Opponents of the Bush administration’s efforts to enforce the new guidelines insist that they still are a mistake. “It’s not really going to help,” said Wendy Mariner, a professor of law and public health at Boston University. “The proposals to limit liberty represent a dangerous precedent to constitutional theory, particularly when there’s almost no evidence it will matter. … It wouldn’t surprise me if they try to sneak this past in August, when people are away.”

The White House’s Office of Management and Budget has set a September target date to complete the first major overhaul of the quarantine regulations in about three decades. That would have at least some of the rules in place if swine flu returns with a vengeance later this year, though officials are reluctant to make that link publicly.

“It’s important to public health to move forward with the regulations,” said Christine Pearson, a spokeswoman for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. “We need to update our quarantine regulations, and this final rule is an important step.”

Pearson said CDC had made “changes where appropriate” to the 2005 proposals, but she did not specify those adjustments.

An OMB spokesman, Tom Gavin, confirmed the rules submitted by the CDC in June were in “an interagency review process.”

Civil liberties groups and some public health experts question the value of the effort and not just on privacy grounds — they also contend that mandatory quarantine is unlikely to be an effective tool to contain swine flu or other diseases in the modern era.

“It doesn’t surprise me that when swine flu or any other epidemic is featured prominently in the news, we see a return to quarantine and other public health regulations,” said Christopher Calabrese of the American Civil Liberties Union, which sharply criticized the Bush-era proposal as too heavy-handed. “The enemy here isn’t the American people or sick people. It’s an illness. … Police officers with guns cannot make people obey a quarantine. In order for this to work, it has to be collaborative. They have to trust the government.”

Thus far, the Obama administration has gotten high marks from quarantine critics, particularly for rejecting suggestions that the U.S. close its border with Mexico during the initial swine flu outbreak. “The current administration quite rightfully resisted those calls,” Jennifer Nuzzo of the University of Pittsburgh’s Center for Biosecurity said.

A report in The Washington Post on Tuesday signaled that the administration may lessen some of the more stringent measures recommended for swine flu earlier this year, such as school closures. Analysts said the administration may want to hold new quarantine powers in reserve, for unforeseen situations or for diseases other than the flu.

POLITICO spoke with about a half-dozen health policy experts and travel industry representatives who submitted comments about the rules the Bush administration proposed in 2005. None of those interviewed had heard that the Obama administration was in the process of reviving the plan, though some hailed the move.

“This is great news,” said Paula Steib of the Association of State and Territorial Health Officials, which generally supported the 2005 proposals.

“I do believe that the coming flu season and the prospect of a resurgence is the reason for the rushed response,” said Georgetown law professor Lawrence Gostin. “I have been calling for the federal government to finalize the CDC regulations for a long time now. They are so antiquated that they provide insufficient powers. … Much depends on what the final regulations actually say.”

While quarantines are sometimes imposed by state and local officials on uncooperative patients, federal quarantine has been almost unheard of in recent decades. Atlanta attorney Andrew Speaker was famously quarantined in 2007 for flying on international flights while infected with tuberculosis. The last reported federal quarantine before that was in 1963.

In recent months, American and British school groups — even New Orleans Mayor Ray Nagin — have been quarantined in China by officials targeting swine flu. “They’ve gotten a lot of criticism from public health authorities,” Nuzzo said.

In April 2003, as severe acute respiratory syndrome spread through Asia, President George W. Bush issued an executive order adding that illness to the list of diseases that are grounds for a quarantine.

In April 2005, when avian flu hit hard overseas, Bush listed “influenza caused by novel or re-emergent influenza viruses that are causing, or have the potential to cause, a pandemic.” A variety of fearsome diseases were already subject to quarantine, including cholera, infectious tuberculosis, plague, smallpox and viral hemorrhagic fevers like Ebola.

The CDC followed that November with the proposed regulations the Obama administration is now finalizing.

Bush administration officials said their proposal would have created a new appeals process for those served with quarantine orders. However, the proposed rules included no new judicial mechanism for review of quarantine orders. Those who objected to being held against their will should file habeas corpus petitions in federal court, guidance accompanying those rules suggested.

Officials said the proposed regulations focused mainly on detaining small numbers of individuals. However, the rules also discussed scenarios “when it is necessary to provisionally quarantine a large group of persons on a very short time frame.”

While any discussion of quarantine may stoke public fears of barbed wire camps filled with infected Americans or closures of international borders, public health experts said that sort of approach to H1N1 flu would not be effective.

“Particularly for flu, the disease is transmitted very rapidly. Within a few days, it’s all over the place,” Nuzzo said.

Critics also objected to a provision in the proposed rules that appeared to require anyone who knows that he or she has been exposed to or is suffering from a communicable illness to seek a “travel permit” from the director of the CDC before taking a train, a plane or even an automobile across state lines.

Agencies across the federal government are making preparations to deal with a serious flare-up of the H1N1 flu this winter. The Food and Drug Administration is overseeing expedited production of vaccines. And the military is considering a plan to give transportation and laboratory help to the Federal Emergency Management Agency in the event of a major outbreak, CNN reported last week.

When the swine flu first grabbed headlines earlier this year, Obama administration officials deflected all questions about quarantines.

“Most quarantine authority is held at the local and state level, and we’re nowhere near that sort of a decision,” Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano said at a news briefing in April.

Issuance of the new rules by the business-friendly Bush administration may have bogged down over the possible financial impact of forcing the travel industry to collect and keep more tracing data about passengers. CDC estimated that cost at between $118 million and $425 million.

In May, the airline industry wrote to Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius, asking her to enact the new quarantine rules while delaying the data collection provisions pending further review.

An HHS representative did not respond to requests for comment on the letter.

U.S. Secretary of Homeland Security Janet Napolitano asserted Tuesday that pandemic flu is likely to flare up soon after schools open in the fall, well before any vaccine is available.

Napolitano also acknowledged that there would not be enough pandemic flu vaccine for everyone, at least in the early stages of the flu season. “There will be prioritization of vaccinations,” she told members of the USA TODAY editorial board.

The flu strain causing the pandemic, a new strain of H1N1 flu that is also known as swine flu, is especially dangerous because it is genetically different from virtually every other known flu virus. As a result, most people are defenseless against it — making vaccine the keystone of any effort to prevent illness and save lives.

Napolitano said the flu epidemic is likely to be severe, but not as severe as the 1918 pandemic, the world’s worst. In 1918, flu killed at least 675,000 people in the USA and up to 50 million worldwide. She said it’s more likely that the pandemic would mirror 1957, when flu killed about 70,000 people in the USA and more than one million people worldwide, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

That’s about twice the death toll of seasonal flu, which annually kills about 36,000 people and results in 200,000 hospitalizations.

Napolitano’s statement that flu vaccine will be provided first to certain high risk groups indicates that the Obama administration accepts the consensus now established among public health experts inside of government and elsewhere.

Last week, a panel of experts advised the CDC that the first vaccinations should go to pregnant women; parents and contacts of children younger than six months; health care workers; all children and young adults and all non-elderly adults with chronic medical conditions.

The government has ordered 195 million doses of swine flu vaccine from five manufacturers, along with immune boosters called adjuvants that may be needed to ramp up the vaccine’s potency. So far, the federal government has spent about $1 billion on pandemic flu vaccine, with an additional $350 million disbursed to states, territories and hospitals for more vaccine purchases and to build surge capacity in emergency rooms and intensive care units.

There are still large numbers of people amongst the general public, in academia, and especially those who work for the corporate media, who are still in denial about the on-the-record stated agenda for global population reduction, as well as the consequences of this program that we already see unfolding.

We have compiled a compendium of evidence to prove that the elite have been obsessed with eugenics and its modern day incarnation, population control, for well over 100 years and that goal of global population reduction is still in full force to this day.

The World’s Elite Are Discussing Population Reduction

As was reported only last month by the London Times, a “secret billionaire club” meeting in early May which took place in New York and was attended by David Rockefeller, Ted Turner, Bill Gates and others was focused around “how their wealth could be used to slow the growth of the world’s population”.

We questioned establishment media spin which portrayed the attendees as kind-hearted and concerned philanthropists by pointing out that Ted Turner has publicly advocated shocking population reduction programs that would cull the human population by a staggering 95%. He has also called for a Communist-style one child policy to be mandated by governments in the west. In China, the one child policy is enforced by means of taxes on each subsequent child, allied to an intimidation program which includes secret police and “family planning” authorities kidnapping pregnant women from their homes and performing forced abortions.

Of course, Turner completely fails to follow his own rules on how everyone else should live their lives, having five children and owning no less than 2 million acres of land.

In the third world, Turner has contributed literally billions to population reduction, namely through United Nations programs, leading the way for the likes of Bill & Melinda Gates and Warren Buffet (Gates’ father has long been a  leading board member of Planned Parenthood and a top eugenicist).

The notion that these elitists merely want to slow population growth in order to improve health is a complete misnomer. Slowing the growth of the world’s population while also improving its health are two irreconcilable concepts to the elite. Stabilizing world population is a natural byproduct of higher living standards, as has been proven by the stabilization of the white population in the west. Elitists like David Rockefeller have no interest in “slowing the growth of world population” by natural methods, their agenda is firmly rooted in the pseudo-science of eugenics, which is all about “culling” the surplus population via draconian methods.

David Rockefeller’s legacy is not derived from a well-meaning “philanthropic” urge to improve health in third world countries, it is born out of a Malthusian drive to eliminate the poor and those deemed racially inferior, using the justification of social Darwinism.

As is documented in Alex Jones’ seminal film Endgame, Rockefeller’s father, John D. Rockefeller, exported eugenics to Germany from its origins in Britain by bankrolling the Kaiser Wilhelm Institute which later would form a central pillar in the Third Reich’s ideology of the Nazi super race. After the fall of the Nazis, top German eugenicists were protected by the allies as the victorious parties fought over who would enjoy their “expertise” in the post-war world.

As Dr. Len Horowitz writes, “In the 1950s, the Rockefellers reorganized the U.S. eugenics movement in their own family offices, with spinoff population-control and abortion groups. The Eugenics Society changed its name to the Society for the Study of Social Biology, its current name.”

“The Rockefeller Foundation had long financed the eugenics movement in England, apparently repaying Britain for the fact that British capital and an Englishman-partner had started old John D. Rockefeller out in his Oil Trust. In the 1960s, the Eugenics Society of England adopted what they called Crypto-eugenics, stating in their official reports that they would do eugenics through means and instruments not labeled as eugenics.”

“With support from the Rockefellers, the Eugenics Society (England) set up a sub-committee called the International Planned Parenthood Federation, which for 12 years had no other address than the Eugenics Society. This, then, is the private, international apparatus which has set the world up for a global holocaust, under the UN flag.”

In the latter half of the 20th century, eugenics merely changed its face to become known as “population control”. This was crystallized in National Security Study Memorandum 200, a 1974 geopolitical strategy document prepared by Rockefeller’s intimate friend and fellow Bilderberg member Henry Kissinger, which targeted thirteen countries for massive population reduction by means of creating food scarcity, sterilization and war.

Henry Kissinger: In the now declassified 1974 document, National Security Memorandum 200, Kissinger outlines the plan to use food scarcity as a weapon in order to achieve population reduction in lesser-developed countries.

The document, declassified in 1989, identified 13 countries that were of special interest to U.S. geopolitical objectives and outlined why population growth, and particularly that of young people who were seen as a revolutionary threat to U.S. corporations, was a potential roadblock to achieving these objectives. The countries named were India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Nigeria, Mexico, Indonesia, Brazil, the Philippines, Thailand, Egypt, Turkey, Ethiopia and Colombia.

The study outlined how civil disturbances affecting the “smooth flow of needed materials” would be less likely to occur “under conditions of slow or zero population growth.”

“Development of a worldwide political and popular commitment to population stabilization is fundamental to any effective strategy. This requires the support and commitment of key LDC leaders. This will only take place if they clearly see the negative impact of unrestricted population growth and believe it is possible to deal with this question through governmental action,” states the document.

The document called for integrating “family planning” (otherwise known as abortion) with routine health services for the purposes of “curbing the numbers of LDC people,” (lesser-developed countries).

The report shockingly outlines how withholding food could be used as a means of punishment for lesser-developed countries who do not act to reduce their population, essentially using food as a weapon for a political agenda by creating mass starvation in under-developed countries.

“The allocation of scarce PL480 (food) resources should take account of what steps a country is taking in population control as well as food production,” states the document.

Later in the document, the idea of enforcing “mandatory programs” by using food as “an instrument of national power” is presented.

The document states that the program will be administered through the United Nations Fund for Population Activities (UNFPA), thereby “avoiding the danger that some LDC leaders will see developed-country pressures for family planning as a form of economic or racial imperialism; this could well create a serious backlash.”

As Jean Guilfoyle writes, “NSSM 200 was a statement composed after the fact. During the late 1960s and early 1970s, the U.S. had worked diligently behind the scenes to advance the population-control agenda at the United Nations, contributing the initial funding of $1 million.

A Department of State telegram, dated July 1969, reported the support of John D. Rockefeller III, among others, for the appointment of Rafael Salas of the Philippines as senior officer to co-ordinate and administer the UN population program. The administrator of the UN Development Program reported confidentially that he preferred someone such as Salas who had the “advantage of color, religion (Catholic) and conviction.”

In the 21st century, the eugenics movement has changed its stripes once again, manifesting itself through the global carbon tax agenda and the notion that having too many children or enjoying a reasonably high standard of living is destroying the planet through global warming, creating the pretext for further regulation and control over every facet of our lives.

As we have tirelessly documented, the elite’s drive for population control is not based around a benign philanthropic urge to improve living standards, it is firmly routed in eugenics, racial hygiene and fascist thinking.

The London Times reports that the secret billionaire cabal, with its interest in population reduction, has been dubbed ‘The Good Club’ by insiders. This couldn’t be further from the truth. Anyone who takes the time to properly research the origins of the “population control” movement will come to understand that the Rockefeller-Turner-Gates agenda for drastic population reduction, which is now clearly manifesting itself through real environmental crises like chemtrails, genetically modified food, tainted vaccines and other skyrocketing diseases such as cancer, has its origins in the age-old malevolent elitist agenda to cull the human “chattel” as one would do to rodents or any other species deemed a nuisance by the central planning authorities.

Sterilization And Eugenics Returns In Popular Culture

We are now seeing the return of last century’s eugenicist movement through the popular promotion of sterilization as a method of birth control.

A popular women’s magazine in the UK recently featured an article entitled, Young, Single and Sterilized, in which women in their 20’s discussed why they had undergone an operation to prevent them from ever having children. The article is little more than PR for a “women’s charity” called Marie Stopes International, an organization that carries out abortions and sterilizations and was founded by a Nazi eugenicist who advocated compulsory sterilization of non-whites and “those of bad character”.

In the article, sterilization is lauded as an “excellent method of birth control” by Dr. Patricia Lohr of the British Pregnancy Advisory Service.

The article includes an advertisement that encourages women to seek “more information about sterilization” by contacting Marie Stopes International. We read that, “Over the past year, a quarter of the women who booked a sterilisation consultation with women’s charity Marie Stopes were aged 30 or under.”

Marie Stopes was a feminist who opened the first birth control clinic in Britain in 1921 as well as being Nazi sympathizer and a eugenicist who advocated that non-whites and the poor be sterilized.

Stopes, a racist and an anti-Semite, campaigned for selective breeding to achieve racial purity, a passion she shared with Adolf Hitler in adoring letters and poems that she sent the leader of the Third Reich.

Stopes also attended the Nazi congress on population science in Berlin in 1935, while calling for the “compulsory sterilization of the diseased, drunkards, or simply those of bad character.” Stopes acted on her appalling theories by concentrating her abortion clinics in poor areas so as to reduce the birth rate of the lower classes.

Stopes left most of her estate to the Eugenics Society, an organization that shared her passion for racial purity and still exists today under the new name  The Galton Institute. The society has included members such as Charles Galton Darwin (grandson of the evolutionist), Julian Huxley and Margaret Sanger.

Marie Stopes, the Nazi and pioneering eugenicist who sent love letters to Hitler, honored recently by the Royal Mail.

Ominously, The Galton Institute website promotes its support and funding initiative for “the practical delivery of family planning facilities, especially in developing countries.” In other words, the same organization that once advocated sterilizing black people to achieve racial purity in the same vein as the Nazis is now bankrolling abortions of black babies in the third world.

While the issue of abortion is an entirely different argument, most would agree that no matter how extreme it sounds, a woman has the right to sterilize herself if she so chooses, just as a man has the right to a vasectomy.

But when a magazine aimed primarily at young women all but encourages girls as young as 20 to have their fallopian tubes tied in order to prevent the “irritation” of children entering their lives and then advertises an organization founded by a Nazi eugenicist that can perform the operation, something has to be amiss.

Even more shocking than this is the fact that the majority of people in the UK routinely express their support for society’s “undesirables” to be forcibly sterilized by the state, harking back to a time when such a thing was commonplace right up to the 1970’s in some areas of America and Europe.

As we highlighted at the time, respondents to a Daily Mail article about Royal Mail honoring Marie Stopes by using her image on a commemorative stamp were not disgusted at Royal Mail for paying homage to a racist Nazi eugenicist, but were merely keen to express their full agreement that those deemed not to be of pure genetic stock or of the approved character should be forcibly sterilized and prevented from having children.

“A lot of people should be sterilized, IMO. It’s still true today,” wrote one.

“Just imagine what a stable, well-ordered society we’d have if compulsory sterilisation had been adopted years ago for the socially undesirable,” states another respondent, calling for a “satellite-carried sterilisation ray” to be installed in space to zap the undesirables.

Shockingly, another compares sterilization and genocide of those deemed inferior to the breeding and culling of farmyard animals, and says that such a move is necessary to fight overpopulation and global warming. Here is the comment in full from “Karen” in Wales;

We breed farm animals to produce the best possible stock and kill them when they have fulfilled their purpose. We inter-breed pedigree animals to produce extremes that leave them open to ill-health and early death. It is only religion that says humans are not animals. The reality is that we are simply intelligent, mammalian primates.

The world population of humans has increased from 2 billion to 6.5 billion in the last 50 years. This planet can support 2 billion humans comfortably. 6.5 billion humans use too many resources and leads to global warming, climate change and a very uncertain future for all of us – humans and all other life sharing this planet with us.

Marie Stopes believed in population control and in breeding the best possible humans. So did Hitler. Neither of the aims are bad in themselves. It is how they are achieved that is the problem. The fact that we still remember Marie Stopes is an achievement in itself.

The nature of these comments is so fundamentally sick and twisted that one is tempted to dismiss them as a joke – but these people are deadly serious. Presumably they would also agree with China’s one child policy, which is routinely enforced by intimidation as young pregnant women are grabbed off the streets by state goons and taken to hospitals where forced abortions are carried out.

Now with popular women’s magazines advising women in their 20’s where they can go to be sterilized and ensure a lifetime of partying and carefree sex, it’s no surprise that experts predict that by 2010 one in four western women will be child free for life.

The yearning to have children is the most beautiful, natural and innate emotion either a man or a woman can possibly experience. That is not to say that it’s always wrong for some people not to have children – extreme circumstances can justify such a decision. But to have yourself sterilized because you find children to be an “irritant” and want to live a life free of responsibility or consequences is an awful message to send to young women, especially in the sex-saturated entertainment culture that we are now forced to endure.

Furthermore, the outright promotion of Marie Stopes International as ‘the place to go’ to get sterilized if you’re under 30 is stomach-churning considering the fact that the origins of this organization can be found in Nazi ideology, racist and backward early 20th century eugenics and a long-standing agenda to cull the population of undesirables, an abhorrent belief still held by elites across the planet today.

Genocidal Population Reduction Programs Embraced By Academia

One such individual who embraces the notion that humans are a virus that should be wiped out en masse for the good of mother earth is Dr. Eric R. Pianka, an American biologist based at the University of Texas in Austin.

Dr Erik Pianka, the American biologist who advocated the mass genocide of 90% of the human race and was applauded by his peers.

During a speech to the Texas Academy of Science in March 2006, Pianka advocated the need to exterminate 90% of the world’s population through the airborne ebola virus. The reaction from scores of top scientists and professors in attendance was not one of shock or revulsion – they stood and applauded Pianka’s call for mass genocide.

Pianka’s speech was ordered to be kept off the record before it began as cameras were turned away and hundreds of students, scientists and professors sat in attendance.

Saying the public was not ready to hear the information presented, Pianka began by exclaiming, “We’re no better than bacteria!”, as he jumped into a doomsday malthusian rant about overpopulation destroying the earth.

Standing in front of a slide of human skulls, Pianka gleefully advocated airborne ebola as his preferred method of exterminating the necessary 90% of humans, choosing it over AIDS because of its faster kill period. Ebola victims suffer the most tortuous deaths imaginable as the virus kills by liquefying the internal organs. The body literally dissolves as the victim writhes in pain bleeding from every orifice.

Pianka then cited the Peak Oil fraud as another reason to initiate global genocide. “And the fossil fuels are running out,” he said, “so I think we may have to cut back to two billion, which would be about one-third as many people.”

Later, the scientist welcomed the potential devastation of the avian flu virus and spoke glowingly of China’s enforced one child policy, before zestfully commenting, “We need to sterilize everybody on the Earth.”

At the end of Pianka’s speech the audience erupted not to a chorus of boos and hisses but to a raucous reception of applause and cheers as audience members clambered to get close to the scientist to ask him follow up questions. Pianka was later presented with a distinguished scientist award by the Academy. Pianka is no crackpot. He has given lectures to prestigious universities worldwide.

Indeed, the notion that the earth’s population needs to be drastically reduced is a belief shared almost unanimously by academics across the western hemisphere.

In 2002, The Melbourne Age reported on newly uncovered documents detailing Nobel Peace Prize winning microbiologist Sir Macfarlane Burnet’s plan to help the Australian government develop biological weapons for use against Indonesia and other “overpopulated” countries of South-East Asia.

Sir Macfarlane recommended in a secret report in 1947 that biological and chemical weapons should be developed to target food crops and spread infectious diseases. His key advisory role on biological warfare was uncovered by Canberra historian Philip Dorling in the National Archives in 1998.

“Specifically to the Australian situation, the most effective counter-offensive to threatened invasion by overpopulated Asiatic countries would be directed towards the destruction by biological or chemical means of tropical food crops and the dissemination of infectious disease capable of spreading in tropical but not under Australian conditions,” Sir Macfarlane said.

The Victorian-born immunologist, who headed the Walter and Eliza Hall Institute of Medical Research, won the Nobel prize for medicine in 1960. He died in 1985 but his theories on immunity and “clonal selection” provided the basis for modern biotechnology and genetic engineering.

Controversy surrounding the comments of another darling of scientific academia, geneticist James Watson, who told a Sunday Times newspaper interviewer that black people are inherently less intelligent than whites, should come as no surprise to those who are aware of Watson’s role in pushing the dark pseudo-science of eugenics.

Watson told the interviewer that he was “inherently gloomy about the prospect of Africa” because “all our social policies are based on the fact that their intelligence is the same as ours – whereas all the testing says not really”.

Watson was the Head of the Human Genome Project until 1992 and is best known for his contribution to the discovery of DNA, an achievement that won him the Nobel Peace prize in 1962.

But what most people are unaware of is the fact that Watson has played an integral role in advancing the legitimacy of the eugenics/population reduction movement for decades.

Watson is a strong proponent of genetic screening, a test to determine whether a couple is at increased risk of having a baby with a hereditary genetic disorder.

Since such screening obviously increases the rate of abortions of babies considered “imperfect,” many have slammed its introduction as nothing more than a camouflage for eugenics or “voluntary eugenics” as British philosophy professor Philip Kitcher labeled it.

Watson’s advocacy of genetic engineering stretched to his call for the “really stupid” bottom 10% of people to be “cured”.

Watson even urged woman to be given carte blanche to abort babies should tests determine that they are likely to be homosexual, despite the vast body of evidence indicating homosexuality is a result of environment rather than genetic code.

The geneticist has gone so far as to promote the idea of creating a kind of Nazi super-race, where the attractive and physically strong are genetically manufactured under laboratory conditions.

“People say it would be terrible if we made all girls pretty. I think it would be great,” said Watson.

Dr. Erik Pianka’s doomsday warning of the population bomb, for which he presented no evidence whatsoever, is complete pseudo-science. Populations in developed countries are declining and only in third world countries are they expanding dramatically. Industrialization itself levels out population trends and aside from this, world population models routinely show that the earth’s population will level out at 9 billion in 2050 and slowly decline after that. “The population of the most developed countries will remain virtually unchanged at 1.2 billion until 2050,” states a United Nations report. Conservation International’s own study revealed that 46% of the earth’s surface was an untouched wilderness, that is land areas not including sea.

Think about the magnitude of Pianka’s statements. He wants to kill nine out of every ten members of your family and he wants to kill them in one of the most painful and agonizing ways imaginable.

If Pianka, or ‘The Lizard Man’ as he likes to be called, is so vehement in embracing the necessity of culling the human population will he step forward to be the first one in line? Will he sacrifice his children for the so-called greater good of the planet? We somehow doubt it.

Will the students and other top academics who so enthusiastically greeted his ideas go home and kill themselves for the cause if it is so righteous?

It was noted how Pianka presented his argument with the kind of glee that you would see in a demented serial killer before dispatching his victim. This is an attitude we have encountered again and again. To discuss killing 90% of the world’s population via a horrific plague is sick enough within itself but you would at least expect its advocates to be serious and sober in their approach to the subject. The opposite seems to be the case, where the subject is aired in a context of lighthearted lip-smacking and hand-rubbing as if the individual was about to sink his teeth into a T-bone steak.

This window gives us a clear view of exactly why these deranged bastards encompass this ideology. They love death and their lives are motivated by dark influences very different to you or I.

Throughout history, elites have invented justifications for barbaric practices as a cover for their true agenda of absolute power and control over populations.

More Examples Of Population Reduction & Eugenics

From 1932 until 1972, the  Tuskegee Study Group (pictured below) deliberately infected poor black communities in Alabama with syphilis without their consent and withheld treatment as the diseased rampaged through the town killing families.

In 1951 the Israeli government used US government provided technology to irradiate 100,000 Jewish children in a mass atomic experiment with an entire generation of Sephardi youths used as guinea pigs. 6,000 died immediately after the experiments and the rest suffered for the rest of their lives with debilitating illnesses and cancer.

As we have documented, members of the elite are quite open in their feverish lust to commit mass murder and ethnic cleansing. In the foreword to his biography If I Were An Animal, Prince Philip, another closet Nazi, wrote, “In the event that I am reincarnated, I would like to return as a deadly virus, in order to contribute something to solve overpopulation.”

This is just one of many on the record statements where Prince Philip has advocated his desire to “cull” the surplus human population. In another speech, he even lambasted the fact that lives were saved in Sri Lanka through Malaria treatments because it meant there were three times as many mouths to feed.

One of the most chilling admissions of the elitists’ deadly intent to forcibly commit genocide to reduce global population came from the lips of the late Jacques Cousteau, the sainted environmental icon. In an interview with the UNESCO Courier for November 1991 the famed oceanographer said:

“The damage people cause to the planet is a function of demographics — it is equal to the degree of development. One American burdens the earth much more than twenty Bangaladeshes. The damage is directly linked to consumption. Our society is turning toward more and needless consumption. It is a vicious circle that I compare to cancer….”

“This is a terrible thing to say. In order to stabilize world population, we must eliminate 350,000 people per day. It is a horrible thing to say, but it’s just as bad not to say it.”

It is important to stress that this essay merely scratches the surface of both the stated goals of global population reduction from elitists and insiders, along with concrete examples of these programs being carried out. We could not possibly list them all in one article because this would take a book the length of an encyclopedia.

One of the people I work with is a kid about 20, who’s grown up living in his German grandparents’ house. His grandparents were alive during WWII, and the old lady who lives in their front house (also German) was an adult during the war.

When he was 15, this kid I work with (let’s call him Adrian) got in a huge fight with the “crazy” old lady in the front house, when she told him Hitler was not the devil, and that there was no holocaust. Adrian screamed at her and called her a nazi in his ignorant fury, and has not spoken to the lady in over five years, though he lives in the house behind her.

Last week, during work, I brought up the hollowco$t, and was explaining to everyone there how it is a big lie, and explaining why it was a big lie. To everyone’s credit, all present–by the end of about a ten minute explanation–were more than open to the idea, and interested in investigating this alleged farce.

Here’s the clincher: almost everyone I work with has Jewish “blood” to some degree, including me. My great grandmother was Jewish. Don’t worry, it’s not a conspiracy–almost everyone who grew up in Los Angeles has some Jewish blood in them it seems. Wait–maybe it is a conspiracy…

Anyhow, by the end of a couple hours of discussion, there were six people who had to know more. I’ve directed them to www.waronyou.com and my site, amongst others.

In any case, the next day Adrian came back to work with a wild-eyed look on his face. He pulled me aside, and in hushed tones, he told me how he couldn’t stop thinking about everything I had said, but that he was very skeptical of it. That night he asked his grandparents their opinion on the holohoax.

His grandmother immediately jumped up with a smile on her face (at the inquisitiveness and honesty of her grandson), and screamed “the holocaust never happened! they have lied to us about our people! Hitler…”

Then her husband, Adrian’s grandfather, interrupted her—”Stop!” he looked at Adrian and said “We don’t know anything about it. Don’t ever bring it up with us again.”

Then his grandfather stormed out of the room. After he left, Adrian’s grandmother leaned close to Adrian and said “Go talk to [the old lady in the front house]. She was there, and she saw what happened to our people.”

I am now waiting to hear the results of his conversation with the old lady in the front house. Understandably, Adrian must approach it delicately, given the fact that he screamed at her the last time he talked to her… And apparently, she’s very old now, and a tad crazy, but we’ll see…

We need to record the testimonies of the people who were there, before all of them are dead, and all we have to look at and listen to is the Jewish press.

A devastating document is met with silence in Turkey

ISTANBUL: For Turkey, the number should have been a bombshell.

According to a long-hidden document that belonged to the interior minister of the Ottoman Empire, 972,000 Ottoman Armenians disappeared from official population records from 1915 through 1916.

In Turkey, any discussion of what happened to the Ottoman Armenians can bring a storm of public outrage. But since its publication in a book in January, the number – and its Ottoman source – has gone virtually unmentioned. Newspapers hardly wrote about it. Television shows have not discussed it.

“Nothing,” said Murat Bardakci, the Turkish author and columnist who compiled the book.

The silence can mean only one thing, he said: “My numbers are too high for ordinary people. Maybe people aren’t ready to talk about it yet.”

For generations, most Turks knew nothing of the details of the Armenian genocide from 1915 to 1918, when more than a million Armenians were killed as the Ottoman Turk government purged the population.

Turkey locked the ugliest parts of its past out of sight, Soviet-style, keeping any mention of the events out of schoolbooks and official narratives in an aggressive campaign of forgetting.

But in the past 10 years, as civil society has flourished here, some parts of Turkish society are now openly questioning the state’s version of events. In December, a group of intellectuals circulated a petition that apologized for the denial of the massacres. Some 29,000 people have signed it.

With his book, “The Remaining Documents of Talat Pasha,” Bardakci (pronounced bard-AK-chuh) has become, rather unwillingly, part of this ferment. The book is a collection of documents and records that once belonged to Mehmed Talat, known as Talat Pasha, the primary architect of the Armenian deportations.

The documents, given to Bardakci by Talat’s widow, Hayriye, before she died in 1983, include lists of population figures. Before 1915, 1,256,000 Armenians lived in the Ottoman Empire, according to the documents. The number plunged to 284,157 two years later, Bardakci said.

To the untrained ear, it is simply a sad statistic. But anyone familiar with the issue knows the numbers are in fierce dispute.

Turkey has never acknowledged a specific number of deportees or deaths. On Sunday, the Turkish foreign minister, Ali Babacan, warned that President Barack Obama might set back relations if he recognized the massacre of Armenians as genocide ahead of his visit to Turkey next month.

The collapse of the Ottoman Empire was bloody, the Turkish argument goes, and those who died were victims of that chaos.

Bardakci subscribes to that view. The figures, he said, do not indicate the number of dead, only the result of the decline in the Armenian population after deportation. He strongly disagrees that the massacres amounted to a genocide, and says that Turkey was obliged to take action against Armenians because they were openly supporting Russia in its war against the Ottoman Empire.

“It was not a Nazi policy or a Holocaust,” he said. “These were very dark times. It was a very difficult decision. But deportation was the outcome of some very bloody events. It was necessary for the government to deport the Armenian population.”

This argument is rejected by most scholars, who believe that the small number of Armenian rebels were not a serious threat to the Ottoman Empire, and that the policy was more the product of the perception that the Armenians, non-Muslims and therefore considered untrustworthy, were a problem population.

Hilmar Kaiser, a historian and expert on the Armenian genocide, said the records published in the book were conclusive proof from the Ottoman authority itself that it had pursued a calculated policy to eliminate the Armenians. “You have suddenly on one page confirmation of the numbers,” he said. “It was like someone hit you over the head with a club.”

Kaiser said the before-and-after figures amounted to “a death record.”

“There is no other way of viewing this document,” he said. “You can’t just hide a million people.”

Other scholars said that the number is a useful addition to the historical record but that it does not introduce a new version of events.

“This corroborates what we already knew,” said Donald Bloxham, the author of “The Great Game of Genocide: Imperialism, Nationalism and the Destruction of the Ottoman Armenians.”

Bardakci is a history buff who learned to read and write Ottoman script from his grandmother, allowing him to navigate Turkey’s written past, something that most Turks are unable to do. He plays the tanbur, a traditional string instrument. His grandfather was a member of the same political party as Talat, and his family knew many of the important political figures in Turkey’s founding.

Historian John Milloy is helping to uncover their stories in official research on burial sites. “We know that children were buried in unmarked graves, children who disappeared and were never heard from again,” he said. The research is part of Canada’s attempts to face up to a disturbing legacy of its residential school system, an attempt to “assimilate” native children that resulted in thousands of deaths and ruined lives.

From the late 19th century right up to the 1970s, an estimated 150,000 native children – First Nations, Inuit and Métis – were packed off to the schools, funded by the state and run by the Catholic, Anglican and United churches.

The story has taken a more sinister turn, with allegations about death by torture, fatal medical experiments, forced sterilisation and secret burials in mass graves filtering into the public domain.

These allegations have been gathered and disseminated by Kevin Annett, a defrocked minister who was thrown out of the United Church in 1996 for his part in exposing the schools scandal and the clergy’s sale of entrusted native lands to a logging company.

Fred Hiltz, primate of the Anglican Church of Canada, apologised last year on behalf of the religious authorities. “We failed them, we failed ourselves, we failed God. We failed because of our racism and because of the belief that white ways were superior to aboriginal ways,” he said.

Canada’s Truth and Reconciliation Commission (TRC) has responded to the claims over Mr Annett’s allegations by ordering maps to be drawn up of possible burial sites and research into numbers and causes of death.

Mr Milloy and his team plan to track down the death certificates and records of maintenance payments sent to schools. Much of the proof will have been lost in routine government purges of official documentation in the 1940s, 1950s and 1960s, he fears.

Michael Pollesel, general secretary of the Anglican Church of Canada, says that many schools would also have lost track of children.

Roland Chrisjohn, a professor of native studies St Thomas University in Fredericton, New Brunswick, is sick of what he perceives as Canada tip-toeing around the issue.

“I want someone with the power to subpoena witnesses and documents and go all kinds of places this commission can’t go at all,” he said.

Describing the residential schools as “genocide”, he said: “Perpetrators are still living. People should be held to account.”

Mike Cachagee, the chairman of the National Residential Schools Survivors’ Society, has his own theory about the TRC. “It is an opportunity for churches to receive absolution,” he said.

“For us, there are no words of reconciliation, you have to make amends. Just listening for ten minutes doesn’t work.”

Thousands abused in regime built to crush native cultures

LAST June, the Canadian prime minister, Stephen Harper, rose in parliament to apologise to aboriginal people on behalf of all Canadians for a system of Indian residential schools he called a “sad chapter in our history”.

From the 1870s to the 1970s, some 150,000 native Indian children were forcibly removed from their parents and sent to distant residential schools. Many survivors said they were abused mentally, physically and sexually. In 2006, a class-action lawsuit resulted in a court settlement that awarded them close to $2 billion (£1.5 billion).

There are about 80,000 survivors of a practice that ripped an estimated 150,000 children from their communities and sent them off to be relieved of their “Indian-ness”.

In decades past the aim was to assimilate aboriginal peoples and crush their cultures. Duncan Campbell Scott, a senior government bureaucrat dealing with aboriginal matters, declared in 1920: “I want to get rid of the Indian problem.” He went on: “Our objective is to continue until there is not a single Indian in Canada that has not been absorbed into the body politic.”

Children were called pigs and dogs. Teachers beat them if they used their own languages and told them they would go to hell unless they converted to Christianity. Many parents never saw their sons and daughters again. Survivors often took to drugs and alcohol to dim the pain.

The Truth and Reconciliation Commission, set up for five years under the terms of the 2006 Indian Residential Schools Settlement Agreement, is expected to hear the stories of survivors, beginning this year.

During his November 4, 2008 presidential acceptance speech, Barack Obama declared: “[C]hange has come to America.” Yet, Obama neglected to mention that not all of the changes in store for America, or the world in general, are positive. One of the more sinister changes the Obama Administration intends to introduce is a revival of eugenical regimentation.

In a 2007 questionnaire prepared by RH Reality Check, a pro-abortion organization, the Obama Campaign stated: “Senator Obama would overturn the global gag rule and reinstate funding for UNFPA” (Lynch, “Sen. Barack Obama’s RH Issues Questionnaire”). Representative Carolyn Maloney would later express her confidence in the Obama promise to fund the UNFPA during a press conference at the National Press Club (Starr, “Congresswoman Confident Obama Will Fund UNFPA, Which Supports China’s Coercive Abortion Program”). The conference, which highlighted the release of the 2008 UN report on the state of the world’s population, gave Maloney an opportunity to take the podium and declare that the Obama Administration would reinstate funding for the UNFPA (ibid).

China

The crimes and faults of the Bush regime are almost too many to count. That being said, the Bush Administration’s restriction of UNFPA funding was well-justified. When one looks at the UNFPA’s track record, it could be argued that drying up the UNFPA’s money well was one of those rare moments of clarity that have appeared on the radar over the last eight years. The decision was motivated by a report prepared by the Population Research Institute (PRI) entitled “UNFPA, China, and Coercive Family Planning” (Ertelt, “Group Confirms Obama Would Fund Forced Abortions if UNFPA Money Restored”). According to LifeNews.com editor Steven Ertelt, the report “is based on an investigation conducted by PRI researchers in China’s Sihui County” (ibid). While many in the liberal camp want to believe that the report was a concocted fantasy, nothing could be further from the truth. Ertelt elaborates:

Relying on interviews with over two dozen victims and witnesses, the 2001 investigation found that coercive abortion and sterilization practices were taking place where the UNFPA had supposedly instituted a “client-centered and voluntary family planning program.” In fact, PRI’s investigation discovered that the UNFPA shared an office with the very Chinese family planning officials who were carrying out forced abortions. (ibid)

The investigation’s findings were so egregious that they motivated Colin Powell, who was Bush’s Secretary of State at the time, to conduct his own investigation (ibid). Powell’s research team confirmed PRI’s findings and Powell recommended that the Bush Administration revoke UNFPA funding (ibid). It is ironic that such a prescription would come from a man who would go on to cast his lot in with the Obama camp. Apparently, the revelations were too damning for even Powell to ignore.

Albania

China was not the only target of the UNFPA’s eugenics efforts. In 1999, the UNFPA sent 350,000 “Emergency Reproduction Health Kits” to Albania (Makimaa, 35). Joseph Meaney, a representative of Human Life International, had an opportunity to inspect the UNFPA’s kits. Meaney found these “health” packages to be filled with condoms, birth control pills, “morning after” pills, intrauterine devices, and manual vacuum aspirators used in early term abortions (35). According to a 1995 UN document discussing “refugee situations,” the packages were originally labeled “Pregnancy Termination” kits (35). The UN document further stated that the euphemistic labels were necessary to “reduce the risk of offending sensitivities” (35). But all the spin and euphemisms in the world could not conceal the UNFPA’s eugenics agenda. An office of Marie Stopes International, an organization dedicated to birth control, was even established in Pristina with the assistance of the UNFPA (35)

Doctor Enzo Ferrara, a physician employed at a hospital in Scutari, Albania during the UNFPA’s eugenical crusade, was outraged by the secret sterilization campaign being carried out against Albanians with the aid of the UN Her protests were met with a shocking response from Albania’s Ministry of Health: “We have accepted international aid on condition of reducing births” (35).

Why would the UN desire to reduce births in places like Albania and China? During the eighties, a criminal named Willie Horton became famous when he stated: “I rob banks because that’s where the money is.” The same principle applies here. The power elite standing behind the UN and its appendages such as the UNFPA have targeted places like Albania and China for eugenical regimentation because that is where they believe the “inferiors” reside.

The Eugenical Heritage of the UN

It should come as little surprise that the UN actively supports and finances eugenical practices. The organization’s eugenical heritage is made evident by the ideological pedigree of those who worked to form it. A majority of the framers of the UN Charter were members of the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR). Lawrence Shoup and William Minter document the role of the CFR in the UN’s inception:

The planning of the United Nations can be traced to the secret steering committee established by Secretary Hull January 1943. This informal Agenda Group, as it was later called, was composed of Hull, Davis, Taylor, Bowman, Pasvolsky, and until he left the government in August 1943, Welles. All of them, with the exception of Hull, were members of the Council on Foreign Relations. They saw Hull regularly to plan, select, and guide the labors of the Department’s Advisory Committee. It was, in effect, the coordinating agency for all the State Department postwar planning…

In late 1943, the Agenda Group began to draft the U.S. proposal for a United Nations organization to maintain international peace and security. The position eventually taken at the Dumbarton Oaks Conference was prepared during the seven-month period from December 1943 to July 1944. Once the group had produced a draft for the United Nations and Hull had approved it, the Secretary requested three distinguished lawyers to rule on its constitutionality. Myron C. Taylor, now on the Council’s board of directors, was Hull’s intermediary to Charles Evans Hughes, retired chief justice of the Supreme Court, John W. Davis, Democratic presidential candidate in 1924, and Nathan L. Miller, former Republican governor of New York. Hughes and Davis were both Council members and John W. Davis had served as president of the Council from 1921 to 1933 and a director since 1921. The three approved the plan, and on 15 June 1944. Hull, Stettinius, Davis, Bowman, and Pasvolsky discussed the draft with President Roosevelt. The chief executive gave his consent and issued a statement to the American people that afternoon.

Although the Charter of the United Nations underwent some modification in negotiations with other nations at the Dumbarton Oaks and San Francisco conferences during 1944 and 1945, one historian concluded that “the substance of the provisions finally written into the Charter in many cases reflected conclusions reached at much earlier stages by the United States government.” The Department of State was clearly in charge of these propositions within the U.S. government, and the role of the Council on Foreign Relations within the Department of State was, in turn, very great indeed. The Council’s power was unrivaled. (149-50)

The CFR’s involvement in the formation of the UN ensured the international entity’s usefulness as a conduit for elitist interests. The CFR was merely a stateside branch of the Royal Institute for International Affairs (RIIA) (Quigley 132-33). In turn, the RIIA was founded by the Round Table Groups (132-33). These Round Table Groups owed their existence to a directive presented in the last will and testament of genocidal British imperialist Cecil Rhodes. This directive mandated the formation of a secret network committed to the imperialist objectives of the British Empire. Rhodes’ Weltanschauung was inspired by a speech delivered by John Ruskin at Oxford in 1870. Carroll Quigley synopsizes Ruskin’s message:

Ruskin spoke to the Oxford undergraduates as members of the privileged ruling class. He told them that they were possessors of a magnificent tradition of education, beauty, rule of law, freedom, decency, and self-discipline, but that this tradition could not be saved, and did not deserve to be saved, unless it could be extended to the lower classes in England itself and to the non-English masses throughout the world. If this precious tradition were not extended to these two great majorities, the minority of upper class Englishmen would ultimately be submerged by these majorities and the tradition lost. To prevent this, the tradition must be extended to the masses and to the empire. (130)

Two characteristically oligarchic themes can be identified within Ruskin’s speech. First, Ruskin’s contention that the British ruling class possessed a “magnificent tradition of education, beauty, rule of law, freedom, decency, and self-discipline” echoes the eugenical contention that there is a superior stock of man culturally and genetically preordained to dominate the mass of brutes. Second, Ruskin’s contention that the lower class and non-English majorities could demographically overwhelm the upper class minority reiterates the oligarchic preoccupation with fertility differential. Historically, the ruling elite have consistently struggled with demographic disparities. Simply stated, they have always been outnumbered. Needless to say, greater numbers of people are more difficult to control.

This disproportion was made evident by a study conducted by the Royal Commission on Population in 1944. Formed by King George VI to examine the declining fertility rates in the British Commonwealth, the Commission observed that the demographic implosion advanced “fastest among the higher occupational categories” (qutd. in Jones 536). Apparently, a distinct fertility differential was making itself evident along socioeconomic demarcations. According to the Commission’s official report, it was the aristocracy that was demographically receding:

“Of the social groups, those with the highest incomes, and among individual parents within each social group, the better educated and the more intelligent, have smaller families on the average than others. We are not in a position to evaluate the expert evidence submitted to us to the effect that there is inherent in this differential birth rate a tendency towards lowering the average level of intelligence of the nation, but there is here an issue of the first important which needs to be thoroughly studied.” (Qutd. in Jones 536)

This fertility differential was attributable to the oligarchs’ tradition of “deliberate family limitation” (qutd. in Jones 535). Historically, the ruling class has maintained insular bloodlines through detestable practices, including inbreeding. The demographic costs of such practices were becoming evident. Not surprisingly, Malthusianism and its theoretical correlative, Darwinism, were promoted by scientific minds within elite quarters. The paradigms of Malthusianism and Darwinism were formulated according to the sociological considerations of the ruling elite. Out of these two “scientific” theories would emerge the socially and politically expedient concept of eugenical population control.

It is with fertility differential that one identifies the true rationale underpinning population control. E. Michael summarizes this rationale:

The ideology of population control is, simply a combination of fact #1: people produce economic wealth and military power, and fact #2: the affluent have smaller families. The English upper classes converted to Darwinism at the same time that they stopped having large families. As a result, they began to be concerned about something they referred to as “differential fertility,” which meant that while the “best people” (i.e., people of class) limited the size of their families, the rest of the world, especially the pullulating races of the Southern Hemisphere, did not. As good Darwinians they realized that the population with the higher fertility rate would eventually replace the population with lower fertility rate. Out of that fearful realization the idea of population control was born. (536)

Simply stated, population control is camouflaged class warfare. In truth, the oligarchs are not concerned with carrying capacity. Ultimately, they are concerned with the capacity of their control. Recognizing the demographic disparities between the British ruling class and the commoners, Ruskin admonished Oxford audiences to extend the oligarhical tradition to the “lower classes in England itself and to the non-English masses throughout the world.” It was this imperialistic message that would inspire Rhodes’ campaign of colonial warfare in Africa and the later formation of the Round Table Groups. The continuity of this message was preserved through the RIIA and the CFR. With the CFR’s creation of the UN, the agendas of eugenical regimentation and population control found a channel for global implementation. Claire Chambers summarizes: “Since its inception, the U.N. has advanced a world-wide program of population control, scientific human breeding, and Darwinism” (3)

Demographic Bloodletting: The Hemorrhage of World Population

It’s not hard to detect that sinking feeling in the pit of your stomach when you realize that the Rubicon no longer lies ahead, but is trailing off into the distance behind you. Perceptive observers of the political and social landscape experienced just such a feeling when they learned of Obama’s intentions to revitalize the UNFPA. The cases of China and Albania painfully illustrate that such a move is tantamount to funding forced abortions, stealth sterilizations, and anti-natal campaigns. Obama could not select a worst time in human history to restore eugenical practices. Underneath the multitude of neo-Malthusian voices warning of the dire consequences attached to unchecked population growth, there is the hissing sound of demographic deflation.

One of the first indications that the people bomb was fizzling out came in a 2001 article in Nature Magazine entitled “The end of population growth.” In the article, the authors concluded that there is “around an 85% chance that the world’s population will stop growing before the end of the century” (Lutz, Sanderson, and Scherbov). Furthermore, the authors predicted that the coming population decline “will pose major social and economic challenges” (ibid).

By 2004, the negative impact of the population implosion upon global economic, political, and social stability could no longer be ignored by national governments. David Frances describes the situation:

For decades, much has been written about the world’s exploding population. But 60 countries, about a third of all nations, have fertility rates today below 2.1 children per woman, the number necessary to maintain a stable population. Half of those nations have levels of 1.5 of less. In Armenia, Italy, South Korea, and Japan, average fertility levels are now close to one child per woman.

Barring unforeseen change, at least 43 of these nations will have smaller populations in 2050 than they do today. (“Now, dangers of a population implosion”)

Anxious governments, once eagerly involved in depopulation campaigns, were now desperately switching course and implementing measures that encouraged procreation. Francis listed some of those measures:

Starting this year, France’s government has been awarding mothers of each new baby 800 euros, almost $1,000. In Italy, the government is giving mothers of a second child 1,000 euros.

South Korea has expanded tax breaks for families with young children and is increasing support for day-care centers for working women. Last year parliament members in Singapore called on the government to do more to keep Cupid and the stork busy.

Japanese prefectures have been organizing hiking trips and cruises for single people – dating programs to halt the bust. (ibid)

All of these pro-natal measures were meant to prevent the baby dearth from having a serious affect on nations’ economic vitality, pension programs, and healthcare (ibid). Unfortunately, years of depopulation campaigns and eugenical regimentation carried out under the guise of “reproductive rights” have made some of the consequences unavoidable.

In the United States, the effects are already being felt with the “graying” of society. During an interview with one of the authors of this article, Judith Baker, an executive director with the Association of Lutheran Older Adults, stated that, for the first time in history, older adults outnumber teenagers (ibid). By 2011, there will be around 11,000 baby boomers turning 65 every day (ibid). Will these people be able to retire? Looting has left Social Security and pension programs insolvent, so it is highly unlikely that boomers will be leaving the work force any time soon. A decent amount of replacement births could have generated a labor force that could replenish the Social Security fund and pension programs. But, abortion and other eugenical practices have contributed to dismal replacement levels, so retirement may disappear entirely.

Working later in life will prove to be a challenge for many. According to Baker, 20% of people have to deal with an Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADL) limitation by age 75 (Baker). By age 85, one out of 3 men and 1 out of 2 women have one or more IADL limitations (ibid). For the older workers, these IADL limitations will instantly preclude several jobs that call for a lot of physical activity. This sad trend shows no sign of abating. In the next 20 years, there will be a 74 % increase in people over 50 and only a 1% increase in people under 50 (ibid).

When Obama financially reinvigorates the UNFPA, the floodgates of demographic catastrophe will be opened wide. With the UNFPA once again leading the power elite’s depopulation campaign, no amount of pro-natal measures will be effective in preventing serious complications stemming from the population implosion.

A state House panel recommended the state give $20,000 to victims of the eugenics program, which sterilized about 7,600 people between 1929 and 1975 who were considered to be mentally handicapped or genetically inferior. Though North Carolina and several other states have apologized for such programs, none have offered reparations.

“Yes, it is ugly. It’s not something that we’re proud of,” said state Rep. Larry Womble, D-Forsyth, who has been working on the issue for several years. “But I’m glad that North Carolina has done more than any other state to step forward and not run away from it.”

Lawmakers in the full General Assembly will have to approve the idea. They convene next month.

Illinois was the first state to offer a eugenics program in 1907 as social reformers advocated for a way to cleanse society of the mentally handicapped and mentally ill. Many states curtailed their sterilizations after World War II, recognizing it was similar to the actions taken by Adolf Hitler in Nazi Germany.

The idea of controlling human fertility deserves to be as thoroughly discredited as Marxist-Leninism
FRONT ROYAL, Va. (Catholic Online) – Overpopulation hysteria has real world consequences. One of these is a United Nations population control agency that goes by the name of the UN Population Fund (UNFPA).

Started in 1969 following a massive lobbying effort by billionaire John D. Rockefeller III, the UNFPA claims to work to “reduce poverty and to ensure that every pregnancy is wanted, every birth is safe, every young person is free of HIV/AIDS, and every girl and woman is treated with dignity and respect.” In fact, the UNFPA, like its founder, believes that the way to reduce poverty is to reduce the numbers of the poor through sterilization, contraception, and abortion campaigns.

We know.We have conducted repeated investigations of UNFPA operations around the world. We have found that, despite its soothing rhetoric about improving “reproductive health,” and “safe motherhood”—the UNFPA spends a huge chunk of its budget on soporific propaganda–the agency continues to be fixated on the numbers. We have documented its involvement in coercive population control policies in countries like China, Vietnam, Peru, and North Korea, as well as in refugee camps around the world.

Its intimate connection to China’s brutal one-child policy merits special attention. For three long decades, the Chinese government has aborted and sterilized millions of women each year. For three long decades, the UNFPA has provided financial aid, ideological encouragement, and international sanction to these abuses through its offices in Beijing and around the Chinese countryside. This shameless pattern of complicity in some of the worst human rights abuses on the planet is the chief reason why the Bush Administration, for seven years running, has refused to fund the UN agency.

We at PRI have hard evidence on the UNFPA’s involvement in coercion—videotapes, cassette tapes, written and spoken testimony from dozens of witnesses. Our information was verified by the U.S. State Department, and is accessible on our web site, as well as in our new video series: Exposure: Investigative Realism from PRI. Even Secretary of State Colin Powell, who in the past has been friendly towards the UNFPA, declared the UNFPA ineligible for U.S. funding because of its complicity in forced abortion and forced sterilization.

Now, none of this matters to the radical base of the population control movement, which remains determined to shovel as many U.S. tax dollars into the UNFPA maw as possible. The Huffington Post went so far as to call us lunatics for daring to challenge the UNFPA’s programs.In an opinion piece published Tuesday, December 2nd, insultingly entitled “The Pro-Lie Movement Targets Hillary,” columnist Cristina Page had this to say about PRI:

“Just when UNFPA was succeeding in proving to the Chinese the one-child policy was not only inhumane but also ineffective, PRI swooped in with its claims of complicity. Bush, eager to lock lips with his fanatical base, ignored the advice of his own state department, as well as many allied nations, and opted to go with the swirly eyed lunacy of the six staffers of PRI. At their request, Bush quickly froze all U.S. funds to UNFPA, which represented 12 percent of its budget.”

Like other population control hardliners, The Huffington Post does not attempt to refute our evidence. The piece is nothing more than yet another mindless recitation of the UNFPA’s party line. Does the Post really believe that the UNFPA was “succeeding”—after thirty long years—in bringing an end to a policy that the Chinese government proudly proclaims will persist until 2050? Moreover, it is factually wrong to say that Bush ignored the advice of his state department. The reality is that he trusted the judgment of his Secretary of State, who said, in effect, “Stop the Funding.” My video response to these and other bootless claims of the Huffington Post is available here.

The Internet news service has no real arguments to make, and so it resorts to sandlot slurs. We, on the other hand, stand by our research and our findings. And we remain firmly convinced that the UN Population Fund serves no useful purpose, and should be dissolved.
The population control programs of the past half-century, born in the dark fear of “the unchecked growth in human numbers,” have been a quiet but profound disaster for the poor and marginalized half of humanity.

Hundreds of millions of poor women (and men) have had their fundamental rights–i.e., to control their own reproductive systems and to determine the number and spacing of their children–grossly violated. An even larger number have had their overall wellbeing compromised as resources have been drained away from primary health care programs, with some succumbing to HIV/AIDS and other epidemics. While the cost of such programs in terms of human lives and suffering has been all too real, the promised benefits have proven largely illusory. Is the U.S. more secure, the global environment better protected, and the world wealthier today because of population control programs? Are the poor better off? The evidence suggests not.

The idea of controlling human fertility “for the good of the state and its people,” as Beijing is fond of saying, is a 20th century anachronism. It deserves to be as thoroughly discredited as Marxist-Leninism, and for the same reason: It is at heart a philosophy of state coercion. In its more extreme manifestations in China and elsewhere, it has given rise to terror campaigns. But even in its mildest guises, it encourages a technocratic paternalism that effectively subjugates individual and familial fertility desires to the wishes of the state.

The U.S. should not only continue to avoid funding the U.N. Population Fund, it should withdraw entirely from the organization. The UNFPA, the creation of Rockefeller and his cronies, should simply be disbanded. Whatever legitimate health functions it performs can be transferred to the World Health Organization, UNICEF, or other international organizations. Some small programs, like that instituted to address the problem of obstetric fistula, may be worth saving. Others are Potemkin facades erected to con critics and deceive women.

We—and the women of China—are not fooled.

Regarding the terrorist attack in India last week, it was by a Pakistani group with links to Pakistan’s ISI intelligence service about whom I’ve written. The group is called Lashkar-e-Taiba which opposes India’s involvement in Kashmir, about which I wrote in my July 23, 2007 NewsWithViews.com column “Javier Solana and the Larger Plan.” Also, remember that in my Sept. 22, 2008 NEWSWITHVIEWS column, “Threats Used for Coercive Compliance,” I wrote (over two months before last week’s attack) that “globally, threats can be non-Communist as well, as India feels threatened by Pakistan and vice versa (watch Kashmir in the future).”

And concerning the Obama administration’s continuing the Power Elite’s planned alternation of power by including many Clintonistas, two examples are Rhodes scholars Dennis Blair (named director of National Intelligence) and Susan Rice (named U.S. ambassador to the U.N.).]

In a previous NewsWithViews column, I mentioned that globalization has returned us to the late 1800s where workers underbid each other for jobs whose conditions weren’t safeguarded by health regulations. “Robber barrons” ruled, and these were people like John D. Rockefeller (his nephew Percy became a member of Skull & Bones in 1900).

With the beginning of the 20th century, Theodore Roosevelt was president and came to be known as a “trust buster” against Rockefeller’s Standard Oil and others, but major corporations that were split up still had interlocking directorates. Thus, Rockefeller’s power was maintained, and he is portrayed in Robert Minor’s 1911 cartoon in THE ST. LOUIS POST-DISPATCH as welcoming Karl Marx to Wall Street, with Marx carrying a book titled SOCIALISM. Rockefeller was able to use his great wealth to “buy” politicians who would see to it that through laws, rules and regulations, their “owners” were not adversely affected—a type of corporate Socialism.

In August of the same year (1911), McCLURE’S magazine published an article titled “Masters of America: The Seven Men,” which warned that “all fundamental resources, all industries capable of forming a unit, are being drawn together toward monopoly control…. And if corporate centralization of power continues unchecked, what is the next great popular agitation to be in this country? For state socialism?”

Education was an important component of the Rockefeller plan, and he hired a reassuring Baptist minister, Frederick Gates, to set up his General Education Board in 1902 to oversee this effort. From this position, Gates wrote Occasional Letter No. 1 (published 1912), stating that “in our dream, we have limitless resources, and the people (rural folk) yield themselves with perfect docility to our molding hand… unhampered by tradition.” Rockefeller education initiatives applied to city schools, too, as Mayor John Hylan of New York City said in THE NEW YORK TIMES (March 27, 1922): “One of my first acts as mayor was to pitch out… from the educational system of our city the Rockefeller agents” and others who planned “to fit the children for the mill and factory.”

The Rockefeller Foundation throughout the 20th century would try to influence many aspects of American education, for example supporting the School-Health Coordinating Service begun in 1939. But the Rockefeller plan’s educational component ultimately has been to facilitate globalism. In Edith Roosevelt’s 1962 article “The Universal Theocratic State,” she revealed: “Curriculum are being drafted to indoctrinate our children in what John D. Rockefeller, Jr. called ‘the church of all people.’… plans are being made to set up regional world Universities whose objectives would include… ‘to build a world outlook’….” At the end of the next decade, the Rockefeller Foundation supported a 3-volume set, including James Becker’s SCHOOLING FOR A GLOBAL AGE, attempting to convince parents and the general public of the necessity of a global perspective, “otherwise children and youth enrolled in globally oriented programs may find themselves in conflict with values assumed in the home.”

In the mid-1980s, Seattle schools “Rockefeller Project” promoted “global education,” and in 1987 the Rockefeller Foundation helped finance Global Perspectives in Education’s “The United States Prepares for its Future: Global Perspectives in Education, Report of the Study Commission on Global Education.”

In November 1992, when Bill Clinton was elected president, David Rockefeller, Jr., who was on the board of the National Center on Education and the Economy, “celebrated” Clinton’s victory which would give NCEE the chance to implement a “cradle-to-grave” plan “to integrate education and human resource development” that could require radical changes in attitudes, values and beliefs.

Changing attitudes, values and beliefs were also aspects of “social control” which, like education, was an important component of the Rockefeller plan. In order to control people, the Rockefellers knew they had to have the ability to monitor what people do. In that regard, investigative reporter Thomas Lawson in EVERYBODY’S magazine (August 1904) learned “about the greatest information bureau in the world. A ‘Standard Oil’ agent is in every hamlet of the country.” Of course, it was also an important aspect of control to be able to manage what information the American people received. In that regard, in 1905 U.S. Rep. Joseph Sibley (Rockefeller Standard Oil payoff man in Washington) wrote a letter to John D. Archbold (Standard Oil’s money provider) saying, “An efficient literary bureau is needed, not for a day or a crisis but a permanent healthy control of the Associated Press and kindred avenues. It will cost money but it will be the cheapest in the end.”

John D. Rockefeller, his son and grandson were all interested in eugenics, with Rockefeller Foundation money supporting the Eugenics Record Office and in 1926 the founding of the American Eugenics Society. And a few years later, on April 11, 1933, Rockefeller Foundation president Max Mason assured its trustees that “the rationalization of social control” would be the concern of their Social Sciences program. Then in the next decade, Rockefeller Foundation medical director Alan Gregg in 1945 sought to fund research into whether wartime psychology could be relevant for the civilian society.

At the beginning of the next decade, John D. Rockefeller III founded the Population Council in 1952 to develop population control measures worldwide. These efforts were vigorously promoted through the 1960s, and in 1973 the same John D. Rockefeller III authored THE SECOND AMERICAN REVOLUTION applauding sexual liberation and the “humanist revolution” while disparaging “old-fashioned nationalism” (remember my earlier remark about the Rockefeller plan changing attitudes, values and beliefs).

The progression of this plan continued into the 1980s with Arthur S. Miller’s THE SECRET CONSTITUTION AND THE NEED FOR CONSTITUTIONAL CHANGE (1987) sponsored in part by the Rockefeller Foundation. In his book, Miller asserted that “ours is the age of the planned society…. No other way is possible.”
