Corporate media journalists are coming out in full force discrediting the Occupy Wall Street movement from every which angle.

I kept seeing tweets on Twitter asking why CNN’s Alison Kosik deleted her Occupy Wall Street post.

Just when I thought it couldn’t get anymore outrageous than this sign on the Chicago Trade building today, Calton sent me over to this link on tumbler which contained a screen shot of her tweet.

Here she is explaining the purpose of the Occupy Wall Street movement in 140 characters or less, which is the limit of posts to twitter.

UPDATE: Kosik deleted her tweet. That’s the kind of confidence she had in her observation, I guess. The New York City police are fairly visible at Occupy Wall Street. They are also strict about smoking weed in public. So I wonder if Kosik’s observation has any factual basis at all.

Really? Forbes is going to sit here say those fuckers speculating on Wall Street “has nothing to do with why you lost your house or job or can’t find a job”. Those fuckers shipping jobs to slave laborers in China and India has everything to do with why most Americans can’t find a job you asshole.

Here’s a challenge for you Doug Hirschhorn, the dickhead who wrote that bullshit, will you make that statement before Congress under oath where the penalty for lying is going to prison? Will you?

In case you missed it, Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke was just put to that exact test. He looked like he was about to shit his pants as in guilt as Senator Bernie Sanders forced him to admit under oath that Wall Street speculation and failure of government regulators was to blame.

Of course, the Forbes article links to this dandy of a source, which comes right out and says bluntly “Wall Street Doesn’t Care” and the protestors can’t sway Congress.

Wall Street Doesn’t Care

There’s a key difference between the Occupy Wall Street movement and the Tea Party movement. The Tea Partiers’ anger is directed squarely at the U.S. government. It began due to dismay at the bailouts and the massive Obama stimulus package. The Tea Party wanted less government interference in the economy.

But the Occupy Wall Street movement’s anger is directed at bankers. Here’s the problem: they really don’t care. These protesters are not Wall Street’s customers. In many cases they aren’t even their customers’ customers.

Over the weekend, I saw a YouTube video of some Wall Streeters sipping champagne as they watched the protests from a balcony above. This is an extreme example, but such bankers who fit the stereotype that the protesters hate obviously aren’t moved by the demonstration. In reality, the vast, vast majority of bankers, traders, and investors aren’t out to rob the poor to feed caviar to the rich. They are doing honest work that holds together the global financial industry. That large majority of Wall Streeters will walk by the protesters and shake their heads at the crowds’ misunderstanding of what they do.

The Protesters Can’t Sway Congress

The Tea Party accomplished something very key: it helped to significantly alter the makeup of Congress through the 2010 election. It had a goal — to put out of power the big government candidates — and it accomplished that goal. The Occupy Wall Street cannot hope for any result as significant.

As mentioned, it doesn’t have a clear set of objectives. But let’s say, for argument’s sake, that it has some general fringe-left goals. Some that have been suggested include new taxes on Wall Street and much stronger financial regulation. The problem is that these views aren’t likely to catch on in Congress: even when the mix was much further to the left in 2009 through 2010, a relatively mild financial regulation bill was passed and even the Bush tax cuts remained intact.

The reality is that the U.S. is a center-right nation, and Congress reflects that. While some cities are farther to the left than others, they already have very progressive representatives. Meanwhile, the message of Occupy Wall Street isn’t likely to catch on and affect any change in more center-right regions like the Tea Party did.

Reuters Propagandist: US State Department Cables = Truth

After nearly a full year at Reuters covering globalist lawyer Robert Amsterdam’s every public relations stunt, including a 40 page report [1], Andrew Marshall decided to “quit” his job and pen the conveniently timed “Thai Story.” The lengthy narrative is based entirely on US State Department cables taken from Wikileaks regarding Thailand, with Marshall’s decidedly anti-Thai establishment rhetoric interjected throughout. He published the first of three parts just days before Thailand’s controversial national election in hopes of further undermining the Thai state and its institutions, bolstering support for US-backed opposition groups [2], as well as preparing the rhetorical battlefield in tandem with other corporate-media organizations, including Robert Amsterdam, ahead of possible violence.

Despite Marshall’s tedious, bland, myopic, and repetitive writing style, the tremendous length of his “Thai Story,” and its inaccessibility to anyone without an intimate knowledge of Thai politics, his paid-for stunt became front page news online at the UK Independent [3][4], and was featured by the admittedly globalist Economist [5], the Lowy Institute [6], and the Council on Foreign Relations [7]. Marshall, apprently, thinks his readership is ignorant enough to believe these organizations and the corporate-financier interests they all represent, care only for freedom, human rights, and “truth,” despite being some of the biggest purveyors of human atrocities on earth, or perhaps Marshall has another explanation as to why they all decided to over-hype in tandem, his less than impressive narrative.

Now months later, Marshall is still in Singapore elaborating on just what he was trying to accomplish with his Wikileaks hit piece. In an interview with Prachatai, a US State Department and George Soros funded propaganda outfit based in Bangkok [8], Marshall farcically claims that US diplomatic cables represented an opportunity to tell the “truth” about Thailand. Marshall goes on to explain that the cables provide a way to get past restrictions on “truth” and provide an honest debate about the future of Thailand. Ironically, this is identical to the Council on Foreign Relation’s conclusion regarding “Thai Story,” encapsulated in a June 2011 article titled, “Bombshell Report on Thailand May Open Debate on Monarchy.” Perhaps it is just a coincidence that the CFR, which represents the collective interests of the largest banks and corporations on earth, in its ceaselessly self-serving agenda has come to the same conclusion about what is “best” for Thailand as does the “deeply concerned” Andrew Marshall.

In the interview, Marshall never explains how the words of US diplomats, working on behalf of a nation with troops occupying Iraq and Afghanistan, conducting military operations in Pakistan, Libya, Yemen, Somalia, and covertly inside Iran, and with troops tied up at more than 820 installations in at least 135 countries, represent anything other than the self-serving interests of a world spanning empire, let alone the “truth.” He also fails to mention how the meaningless, unsubstantiated claims, opinions, and speculations of US diplomats hold any legitimate place in a sovereign nation’s debate over its own future, aside from of course, how those plans might mesh with the West’s imperial ambitions.

Video: US State Department-funded Prachatai interviews the dubious Andrew Marshall of Reuters. Marshall’s words repeat, almost verbatim, the narrative proposed by the CFR in regards to Thailand and the Wikileaks cables, all part of a gambit to destabilize and remove Thailand’s long standing indigenous institutions, which stand in direct competition with the myriad of globalist funded “NGOs” attempting to pry their way in.

Marshall’s dubious claims that the US State Department cables equate to some sort of sacred “truth” a nation must bend its destiny to, is only topped by the fact that he was saying this in an interview with a news organization fully funded year-to-year by the US State Department and US corporate-funded foundations. When considering America’s immense military holdings throughout the world, it should be no surprise that they hold an equally vast propaganda network, lined by overtly paid-for organizations like Prachatai and disingenuous liars like Andrew Marshall of Reuters [9].

How many times have you heard the mainstream media dismiss certain points of view as “conspiracy theories”?  It seems as though one of the easiest ways to brush something off is to label it as something that only “conspiracy theorists” would believe.  Well, you know what?  A whole lot of the time the “conspiracy theorists” are right and the mainstream media is wrong.  In fact, we owe a great debt to “conspiracy theorists” because they will go places and investigate things that the mainstream media would never even touch.  The reality is that the mainstream media only tells us what the government and the big corporations want us to hear, and much of the time it is those in the alternative media that are left with the task of trying to figure out what the real truth is.  So don’t look down on conspiracy theories or conspiracy theorists.  In a world where almost everything we are told is a lie, the truth can be very difficult to find.

The following are 14 conspiracy theories that the media now admits are conspiracy facts….

#1 Fukushima Uninhabitable

Back in April, I published an article entitled “Much Of Northern Japan Uninhabitable Due To Nuclear Radiation?“  At the time, almost everyone in the mainstream media was insisting that Fukushima was nothing like Chernobyl and that those that lived near Fukushima would be able to return to their homes fairly soon.

Well, it turns out that those of us that feared the worst were right after all.  Just consider the following quote from the New York Times….

Broad areas around the stricken Fukushima Daiichi nuclear plant could soon be declared uninhabitable, perhaps for decades, after a government survey found radioactive contamination that far exceeded safe levels, several major media outlets said Monday.

#2 U.S. Military Attack On Libya

At the beginning of this year, nobody would have dreamed that the U.S. military would have attacked Libya this year.

But it happened.  At first those that tried to warn about an upcoming conflict with Libya were called kooks, and even up until recently many in the media were still trying to deny that NATO was arming and training the rebels.

Well, the truth is that NATO had special forces on the ground even before the conflict began.

The “rebel groups” (which include large numbers of al-Qaeda fighters) would have been soundly defeated by Gaddafi if not for relentless air strikes by the U.S. military and NATO.

Instead of a straightforward invasion like we saw in Afghanistan and Iraq, the U.S. military and NATO systematically developed, trained and equipped “rebel groups” within the country and have used them as the ground forces for this campaign.

That way the goals of the U.S. and EU could still be achieved, but in the end they would have less blood on their hands.

As the conflict winds down, now even the New York Times is admitting that we have trained and equipped the rebels….

“We always knew there would be a point where the effectiveness of the government forces would decline to the point where they could not effectively command and control their forces,” said the diplomat, who was granted anonymity to discuss confidential details of the battle inside Tripoli.

“At the same time,” the diplomat said, “the learning curve for the rebels, with training and equipping, was increasing. What we’ve seen in the past two or three weeks is these two curves have crossed.”

Sadly, there is still a very good chance that U.S. troops could end up on the ground in Libya.
Many prominent officials are already calling for the U.S. and the EU to provide occupation forces.  Richard Haas, the president of the Council on Foreign Relations, has authored an opinion piece for the Financial Times entitled “Libya Now Needs Boots on the Ground“.

If that happens, it will likely end up being a situation very similar to what we have today in Iraq.

#3 Widespread Use Of RFID Chips In Humans

The doubters said it would never happen.  They said we would never see the day when RFID chips were implanted in humans on a widespread basis.

Well, today there are examples of this all over the world.  One of the most stunning examples recently has come out of Mexico.  According to the Washington Post, “thousands of worried Mexicans” have been having “satellite and radio-frequency tracking products” implanted in their skin in order to protect themselves against abduction.

#4 $2000 Gold

It was only a matter of months ago that we were told that gold was “in a bubble” at $1400 or $1500 an ounce.

Well, gold recently crossed the $1900 an ounce barrier, and appears poised to go much higher as global financial instability intensifies.

#5 Obama Wants To Impose Backdoor Amnesty

Those that warned that Barack Obama was going to impose amnesty for illegal immigrants by executive fiat were called “nuts” and “conspiracy theorists”.

Well, it has happened.  The Obama administration has now instituted “backdoor amnesty” for illegal immigrants and even plans to provide them with work permits.

#6 U.S. Government Provides Weapons For Mexican Drug Cartels

For a long time there were those that claimed that the U.S. government was providing guns to Mexican drug cartels, but nobody wanted to listen.

Well, it is all now a matter of public record.  It turns out that the U.S. government facilitated the transfer of thousands of guns into the hands of Mexican drug cartels.

The following is a brief excerpt from a CBS News report that discusses the fierce opposition that many ATF agents expressed to allowing thousands of guns to be given into the hands of the Mexican drug cartels….

On the phone, one Project Gunrunner source (who didn’t want to be identified) told us just how many guns flooded the black market under ATF’s watchful eye. “The numbers are over 2,500 on that case by the way. That’s how many guns were sold – including some 50-calibers they let walk.”

50-caliber weapons are fearsome. For months, ATF agents followed 50-caliber Barrett rifles and other guns believed headed for the Mexican border, but were ordered to let them go. One distraught agent was often overheard on ATF radios begging and pleading to be allowed to intercept transports. The answer: “Negative. Stand down.”

CBS News has been told at least 11 ATF agents and senior managers voiced fierce opposition to the strategy. “It got ugly…” said one. There was “screaming and yelling” says another. A third warned: “this is crazy, somebody is gonna to get killed.”

Amazingly, three of the key ATF officials involved in putting thousands of guns into the hands of Mexican drug cartels were recently promoted.

#7 Fluoride Is Harmful

Incredibly, the federal government is finally admitting that high levels of fluoride in our drinking water can be harmful.  In fact, the feds have reduced the “recommended amount” of fluoride in our drinking water for the first time in 50 years.

We probably won’t see them ban fluoride any time soon, but for them to even acknowledge a problem with fluoride is a major step.  In a recent article on CNN, it was reported that the federal government is now saying that high levels of fluoride in the water have now officially been linked with fluorosis….

The Department of Health and Human Services and Environmental Protection Agency are proposing the change because of an increase in fluorosis — a condition that causes spotting and streaking on children’s teeth.

#8 The Federal Reserve Favors The Big Banks

We were always told by the media that the Federal Reserve was “above politics” and that it did not show favoritism.

Well, we all know now that the Fed is deeply corrupt and about the only people that they actually help are their friends.

It turns out that the Federal Reserve very quietly showered the big banks and their friends with hundreds of billions of dollars in loans at rates that were substantially below market during the financial crisis.  While Wall Street was being flooded with easy loans, none of the small banks that were deeply suffering and no average Americans got any money.

#9 Cell Phones Linked To Cancer

For years, “conspiracy theorists” have been claiming that cell phone use can cause cancer.

Well, the mainstream media is starting to catch up.  Some very startling scientific studies have come out recently that are hard to ignore.

The following is an excerpt from a recent CNN article about one of these studies….

At the highest exposure levels — using a mobile phone half an hour a day over a 10-year period — the study found a 40 percent increased risk of glioma brain tumors.

#10 The Credit Rating Agencies Are Corrupt

We have all been taught that the credit rating agencies are supposed to be objective.

But in the real world things are not that simple.

For example, just a short time after long-term U.S. government debt was downgraded, the head of Standard & Poor’s is resigning, and is being replaced by Douglas Peterson, the former COO of Citigroup.

Do you think the former COO of Citigroup is going to come down hard on his former comrades over at the big Wall Street banks?

Also, a whistleblower has come forward with some stunning revelations about Moody’s.  The following is what former analyst William Harrington says was going on over at that credit agency during the financial crisis….

“The track record of management influence in committees speaks for itself — it produced hollowed-out (collateralized debt obligation) opinions that were at great odds with the private opinions of committees and which were not durable for even a short period after publication”

#11 Prescription Drugs Kill A Lot Of Americans

Growing up, I never even imagined that prescription drugs could be dangerous.  I had complete faith in the medical community and the government to only allow drugs on the market that were fully tested and proven to be 100% safe.

Well, I was dead wrong.  The truth is that adverse reactions to prescription drugs kill a huge number of Americans every year.  A recent Vanity Fair article entitled “Deadly Medicine” began with the following statement….

Prescription drugs kill some 200,000 Americans every year. Will that number go up, now that most clinical trials are conducted overseas–on sick Russians, homeless Poles, and slum-dwelling Chinese–in places where regulation is virtually nonexistent, the F.D.A. doesn’t reach, and “mistakes” can end up in pauper’s graves?

#12 Bisphenol-A Is Linked To Infertility

A very common chemical known as bisphenol-A is found in thousands upon thousands of our plastic products.  It also turns out that it has some really nasty effects on the human body.

Fortunately, some in the mainstream media are beginning to acknowledge this.  Back in October, one of the largest UK newspapers published an article entitled “Bisphenol-A now linked to male infertility” which made the following unequivocal statement about the dangers of BPA….

Bisphenol-A (BPA), known as the “gender bending” chemical because of its connection to male impotence, has now been shown to decrease sperm mobility and quality.

#13 The “Super Congress” Is In The Pocket Of Wall Street Interests

The amount of money that has been donated to the campaigns of those on the “Super Congress” is absolutely astounding.

Just check out what a recent CNBC article had to say about the matter….

Overall, according to the center’s research, the dozen super committee members have raised more than $50 million from the finance, insurance and real estate sector since the 1990 election cycle.

How much influence do you think 50 million dollars is going to buy?

#14 The Targeting Of Christian Groups

We are increasingly hearing from the Obama administration and some members of Congress that we need to be really concerned about “homegrown terrorists” and “Christian extremists”.

For example, during a recent Congressional hearing U.S. Representative Sheila Jackson Lee warned that “Christian militants” might try to “bring down the country” and that such groups need to be investigated.

In addition, according to a shocking document obtained by Oath Keepers, the FBI is now instructing store owners to report many new forms of “suspicious activity” to them.  According to the document, “suspicious activity” now includes making “extreme religious statements” and believing in “radical theology”.

Not only that, a Department of Homeland Security report on “right wing extremism” from April 2009 lists the following people as potential terrorists….

-those that believe in “end times” prophecies

-those that believe abortion is wrong

-those that stockpile food, ammunition or weapons

-those that are against same-sex marriage

-those that believe in “New World Order” conspiracy theories

I don’t know about you, but when the federal government starts targeting people based on their religious beliefs, that makes me very nervous.

This world is officially going crazy.  So don’t blame “conspiracy theorists” for wanting to dig around and get the facts.  The mainstream media sure doesn’t give us much of the truth.

As the world continues to fall apart and as the propaganda from the mainstream media gets even more blatant, the hunger for the truth is only going to grow.

Who knows?  Perhaps before it is all over you will be a “conspiracy theorist” too.

Plans to exploit Iraq’s oil reserves were discussed by government ministers and the world’s largest oil companies the year before Britain took a leading role in invading Iraq, government documents show.

The papers, revealed here for the first time, raise new questions over Britain’s involvement in the war, which had divided Tony Blair’s cabinet and was voted through only after his claims that Saddam Hussein had weapons of mass destruction.

The minutes of a series of meetings between ministers and senior oil executives are at odds with the public denials of self-interest from oil companies and Western governments at the time.

The documents were not offered as evidence in the ongoing Chilcot Inquiry into the UK’s involvement in the Iraq war. In March 2003, just before Britain went to war, Shell denounced reports that it had held talks with Downing Street about Iraqi oil as “highly inaccurate”. BP denied that it had any “strategic interest” in Iraq, while Tony Blair described “the oil conspiracy theory” as “the most absurd”.

But documents from October and November the previous year paint a very different picture.

Five months before the March 2003 invasion, Baroness Symons, then the Trade Minister, told BP that the Government believed British energy firms should be given a share of Iraq’s enormous oil and gas reserves as a reward for Tony Blair’s military commitment to US plans for regime change.

The papers show that Lady Symons agreed to lobby the Bush administration on BP’s behalf because the oil giant feared it was being “locked out” of deals that Washington was quietly striking with US, French and Russian governments and their energy firms.

Minutes of a meeting with BP, Shell and BG (formerly British Gas) on 31 October 2002 read: “Baroness Symons agreed that it would be difficult to justify British companies losing out in Iraq in that way if the UK had itself been a conspicuous supporter of the US government throughout the crisis.”

The minister then promised to “report back to the companies before Christmas” on her lobbying efforts.

The Foreign Office invited BP in on 6 November 2002 to talk about opportunities in Iraq “post regime change”. Its minutes state: “Iraq is the big oil prospect. BP is desperate to get in there and anxious that political deals should not deny them the opportunity.”

After another meeting, this one in October 2002, the Foreign Office’s Middle East director at the time, Edward Chaplin, noted: “Shell and BP could not afford not to have a stake in [Iraq] for the sake of their long-term future… We were determined to get a fair slice of the action for UK companies in a post-Saddam Iraq.”

Whereas BP was insisting in public that it had “no strategic interest” in Iraq, in private it told the Foreign Office that Iraq was “more important than anything we’ve seen for a long time”.

Most people don’t realize that there are systems of control implemented in such a way as to seem completely innocent, innocuous or unrelated to the actual agenda. One of the most prominent examples of this can be found in today’s mainstream rap and hip-hop music in the lyrics, videos, and lifestyle goals it portrays.

I must make this clear: this is not an attack on the musical style, in fact I enjoy certain artists a great deal, I am speaking only of the mainstream artists who speak only of “bling”, violence, and crime. This agenda is so deeply ingrained in the rap and hip-hop cultures that most people would never be able to tease out the agenda driving the media support of such subjects.

This agenda is similar to many seemingly progressive movements like the woman’s liberation movement (financed by the Rothschilds in order to make 50% of the population taxable), Planned Parenthood and birth control (eugenics program of forced sterilization and abortion started by pro-Nazi unabashed eugenicist Margaret Sanger who is now hailed as a figurehead for woman’s rights) and “diversity” education.

Most readers brainwashed by the mainstream media would be shocked at this point, probably thinking I’m an insane extremist who is sexist, racist and whatever else they might want to project. This is exactly the point. These programs divide, segregate, and weaken the cohesion of the American people. These programs oppress large portions of the population without them even being able to see the bars surrounding them.

One can see the divide and conquer approach of control working quite well within the mainstream rap and hip-hop communities in promoting racial segregation, materialism, lack of morals, drug use, and let us not forget extreme violence. The constant rap about jewelry made of gold mined by African wage slaves under inhumane conditions, absurdly marked up clothing items produced by slave laborers in third world nations, expensive cars and otherwise meaningless consumption isn’t just supposed to be glamorous, it is supposed to create a culture in which people gauge their worth by the money they spend.

This constant theme throughout mainstream rap promotes engaging in crime, dropping out of school in favor of criminal enterprise, engaging in the use and sale of addictive drugs to people in their community, and racial division.

It also highly advocates living beyond one’s means, if you turn on the radio and tune into a mainstream rap station you will notice that all of the commercials are either about getting loans with out credit, debt help, useless diploma mills and weight-loss surgeries. Do you think it is pure coincidence that right after you hear a song talking about how many women the rapper gets with his car or chain followed by commercials telling you how you can enslave yourself to debt in order to be happy too?

Clearly the inordinate amount of minorities in American private prisons, low-income neighborhoods and dangerous areas is no accident. The difference between the ghettos of Nazi Germany and the ghettos of America is that the fences are invisible.

Subliminal control is infinitely more powerful than overt physical oppression as those who are enslaved usually do not care enough to even examine what exactly brings about the culture in which they live.

Gangs, prison life, and the supposed glories of drug sale all play into the scheme of control that celebrates being uneducated and the continuation of the cycle. Kids in ghettos are indoctrinated at a young age, taught that gangs are the only way to stay alive, selling drugs is the only way to make a living, and that cops, white people, teachers, members of their community or even their own race should be killed.

Criminality is cool!

Anyone who is remotely informed is aware that the United States Government is involved in the trafficking of addictive street drugs onto American soil. This Wikipedia article has a few of the well documented cases of the CIA being involved in drug smuggling, not to mention the article I wrote about the banks directly involved in laundering for Mexican Cartels and getting off with an absurdly insignificant fine.

Are these clear instances of Government support for this culture and widespread drug addiction across America just coincidences? No.

This is just one arm of the incredibly sophisticated control grid that oppresses and divides large segments of the American population in order to make them easier to control, more dependent, dumbed down, and constant food for the insatiable cannibalistic machine that is the American prison system.

Wake up and start looking around you. I have no doubt you will see other methods of division and control around you like the Democratic and Republican parties, sports teams, religious prejudice and so much more.

The Government is behind shipping in the drugs, laundering the money, supporting the constant cycle of imprisonment and ultimately the individuals behind all of these industries walk away unimaginable profit. Lowly destitute drug users are arrested, charged, and imprisoned for long stretches of time during which the taxpayer is paying for their stay. Inside of the prison they can still get drugs, continue to fuel their addiction, and ultimately never achieve rehabilitation or the ability to become a meaningful part of society. This is no accident on the Government’s part.

A reliable way to get repeat customers, glorify the actions that get people here!

When you can make African-American people believe in the back of their mind that Caucasians are not trustworthy and racist and that they are pitted against each other in a silent racial battle, you build an instant wall between two people that is very effective in stemming camaraderie, exchange of ideas, and total co-operation.

We are told that certain nationalities and ethnicities are “minorities” or “immigrants” or “different” or “diverse”. This is the most insane dialectic that is pushed by the American propaganda machines and mainstream society, I have no idea how more people don’t see through this thinly veiled attempt to psychologically separate people. All of these terms are used to subconsciously plant the notion that people are very different, people should feel guilty for the missteps of their ancestors and hold deep psychological prejudices bred of these mistakes.

America is a nation of immigrants aside from the indigenous peoples the “discoverers” of America displaced, massacred, and ultimately interned in ghettos ironically entitled “reservations”. Forget the fact that the entire land we now occupy is rightfully theirs and that they are actively oppressed in the so-called “reservations”. This too is another illusory division, most of the people today are indeed immigrants, and even those who are not should stand together with those who have come to their great land to seek liberty, prosperity and happiness.

Start thinking about the prejudices you subconsciously hold in your own life and employ some meta-cognition to try and puzzle out if the prejudice is borne of your own experience or if it is simply a sociocultural undercurrent engineered to keep the entire population from standing together.

Gaddaffi’s African “Mercenary” Story is a Disinformation Ploy by the CIA

Experts on Africa who have traveled extensively in Libya contend that the stories emanating from the Western media that portray Libya’s leader, Muammar Gaddafi, as engaging the services of black mercenaries from Sahara and sub-Sahara Africa is a disinformation ploy by the CIA to stoke racist fervor among Libyans rebelling against Gaddafi.

After Western news sources “reported” that Gaddafi had hired black African mercenaries to fight against Libyan rebels, thousand of black African workers in Libya were set upon by angry mobs who believed the Western propaganda that the black workers were fighting for Gaddafi.

The role of President Obama in stoking a CIA-engineered racist response by Libyan rebels has not been lost on a number of African-Americans. One leading African-American activist in Washington, DC wrote in an email: “Not demanding the accountability of a black president will garner us the same things as not holding a white President accountable – nothing.”

Western news organization reported that Libyan rebels were “hunting down” black African mercenaries but many of these were merely workers who came to Libya from their economically-depressed nations to seek employment in mainly the Libyan oil services, agricultural, and construction sectors. Ironically, a number of the Africans targeted by angry mobs spurred on by CIA and other Western intelligence planted news stories are from Kenya, the land that Obama claims as his paternal ancestral home.

Other Africans, stranded in Libya and subjected to the racial onslaught of Libyan Arabs, hailed from South Sudan, Uganda, Sierra Leone, Tanzania, Somalia, Ethiopia, Ghana, Rwanda, Burundi, Uganda, Democratic Republic of Congo, Lesotho, Zimbabwe, Zambia, and Nigeria. A million and a half black African guest workers were in Libya at the outbreak of the fighting between Gaddafi and rebel forces. Only a few of the Africans were evacuated with many being forced to hide in their homes and flee without the support of their governments to squalid refugee camps in Egypt, Tunisia, and Sudan. Even dark-skinned non-African workers from Bangladesh could not escape the wrath of the Libyan rebels.

Other Africans, notably those from Niger, Mali, Gabon, and Chad, recalled how Gaddafi funded development projects in their nations and they responded by travelling to Libya as volunteers to support Gaddafi. However, these volunteers were branded as mercenaries by the Western media and their intelligence agency overseers. Algeria rejected charges that its nationals were being sent to Libya to fight as mercenaries for Gaddafi.

London’s Sunday Mirror ran a dubious story on March 27 that Gaddafi’s son, Seif al-Islam Gaddafi, had fled to Zimbabwe where he was trying to enlist an African army to assist his father’s forces. The report stated that Zimbabwe’s aging dictator, Robert Mugabe, was prepared to send Zimbabwean army troops to Libya to fight alongside Gaddafi’s army.

The CIA’s propaganda war against black Africans in Libya was not limited to the editorial offices and television news bureaus of Washington, London, Paris, and New York. A Liberian presidential candidate, T. Q. Harris, blamed Gaddafi for the forced conscription of young men and boys into his army. The statement was picked up by Liberia’s longtime CIA-influenced newspapers.

On March 16, The Guardian of the UK printed a clarification of a previous report that intimated that Gaddafi had recruited mercenaries from the Zaghawa tribe living in Darfur and Chad. The Guardian wrote that there was “no evidence that members of the Zaghawa are involved in the present conflict.”

Not only were workers from Chad, Ethiopia, and Somalia hunted down by Libyan rebels and hanged from lamp posts and hacked to death with axes and machetes, but black Libyans, mostly from the southern province of Fezzan, received the same treatment. The neo-conservatives in the Washington and New York media centers ignored the plight of the black workers and continued to echo the charge that any blacks in Libya were Gaddafi mercenaries. The fact that many of the black Africans massacred by the Libyan rebels had Libyan worker documentation was lost on the Western media.

The New York Times, in a March 16 article titled “Libyan Oil Buys Loyal African Allies for Qaddafi,” wrote that Gaddafi recruiters were enlisting “about 200” young men in Mali to fight in Libya. The Times repeated the CIA-engineered disinformation story that 3,000 to 4,000 mercenaries had been recruited by Gaddafi’s government from Mali, Darfur, and Niger at a salary of $1000 per day. However, in a March 11 story in the Times, it was reported that U.S. intelligence officials were unable to confirm the report that between 4,000 and 5,000 mercenaries from Niger, Mali, and Darfur’s Justice and Equality Movement had been hired by Gaddafi for $1000 a day. In an era of information warfare, even he CIA cannot keep its planted news stories straight.

The U.S. ambassador to the United Nations, Susan Rice, in a March 17 statement on the UN Security Council’s adoption of the resolution creating a no-fly zone over Libya stated that one of the reasons was to prevent planes carrying “mercenaries” into Libya to support Gaddafi.

It has also been reported that Saudi Wahabi-linked groups among the rebels, including the Libyan Islamic Fighting Group, have specifically targeted and executed Christian black African workers as “infidels” who support Gaddafi. <SNIP>

Amateur radio also known as Ham radio is a powerful wireless communications medium that has been around since 1901. In the decades since the equipment used for amateur radio has developed along with commercial radio hardware. The creation of the transistor in the late 1950s helped lower the cost of Ham radios which allowed them to become more widely available. Other significant advancements include the creation of repeater networks and the integration of microprocessors into radio equipment.

Many Ham operators use their radios in place of cell phones and land based telephone services. This allows them to save a considerable amount of money on their communication costs.

There are three classes of amateur radio licenses; from lowest to highest they are Technician, General and Extra. The higher the license the greater the frequency privileges you receive. Before you can receive the General or Extra class licenses you have to pass the Technician test. The tests have to be passed in order because you can’t skip licenses.

To study for your exam you should get a copy of “Ham Radio License Manual(Technician Class)”. The book is very comprehensive and does an excellent job introducing the basics of Ham radio and all of the FCC regulations that govern it. The book is available through Amazon.com. The largest national membership organization for Ham operators is the American Radio Relay League(ARRL). The group publishes a monthly magazine for its members titled “QST”. Their website ARRL.org is a wealth of information and it has a list of testing centers throughout the U.S. The site also lists local Ham radio clubs.

Club meetings are a great place to socialize and learn more about Ham radio and the many facets of the hobby. At the meetings you’ll find highly experienced Ham operators who are referred to as “Elmers”, these individuals are a great wealth of knowledge and should be engaged when the opportunity arises.

Ham radios come in a variety of types and styles. There are handhelds, mobile systems for vehicles and base systems like those you would find at someone’s home or at a local Ham club. Two good sources for radios and accessories are universal-radio.com and hamcity.com.

You can also communicate with other Hams using echolink.org. This site uses voice over intent protocol(VoIP) to connect with other Ham users. The echolink system is very easy to use and you don’t need any radio equipment to access it.

Amateur radio has many facets which helps make it a very fun and rewarding hobby. Many young people who become involved with Ham radio go on to make a career for themselves in the electronics field.

The December 10 article, unlike the one on November 13, now defends the US’ intelligence officials decision to provide a safe haven for Nazi criminals…

In 2007, the OSI had waived more than 23,000 pages, but as of this date is keeping secret over 18,000 pages, allegedly to protect the “ongoing investigtions (going on for decades) and prosecutions.” [Let’s see, the war ended 66 years ago, anyone who is being investigated is either deceased or over 85 years of age. Why would they need to keep secret almost half the records?]

Mysteriously, the next day (12/11), the December 10 article is rewritten by Randy Herschaft and titled Report details ties between US and ex-Nazis, but this version fails to mention the OSI is keeping secret over 18,000 pages “to protect ongoing investigations and prosecutions” of war criminals who are on their death bed.

The Long-hidden report: CIA created ‘safe haven’ for Nazis in the US obtained by the New York Times November 13, 2010, may be the most concrete account yet of the role that prominent members of Germany’s Nazi party played in the early, formative years of the CIA, following World War II. The report alleges the CIA created a “safe haven” for Nazis believed to be of use to the US’ Cold War efforts. [1]

Notice the words alleges and believed to be of use to the US’ Cold War efforts.

The report confirms, what some refer to as a pathetic chapter in our nation’s history. The “experts” our intelligence people recruited were just a bunch of criminals and losers that never provided any useful intelligence about the Soviet Union. Furthermore, Lieutenant Richard Hallock had a breakthrough in 1943 when he deciphered the codes of the Red Army intelligence. The Venona Project

One part of the report addresses the story of Otto Von Bolschwing, an associate of Adolf Eichmann, who was instrumental in drawing up plans for ridding Germany of Jews. [2]

Below is an excerpt by Christopher Simpson about Otto Von Bolschwing from Simpson’s Blowback America’s recruitment of Nazis, and its disastrous effect on our domestic and foreign policy, Page 252:

“The story of U.S. intelligence relations with criminals such as Brunner is of necessity fragmentary, for both the CIA and Brunner himself have taken extensive measures to keep such affairs hidden. It is clear, however, that Brunner was not an exception to the rule who managed to ingratiate himself with the Americans through guile or through an oversight. There is, in fact, at least one other known case of U.S. recruitment Baron Otto Von Bolschwing, an SS veteran of Adolf Eichmann’s “Jewish Affairs” office, the elite committee that served as the central administrative apparatus of the Nazis’ campaign to exterminate the Jews.”

Notice he worked in Eichmann’s elite “Jewish Affairs” office, not in the Third Reich’s elite “Soviet Affairs” office.

“Von Bolschwing, deeply involved in intelligence work, and in the persecution of innocent peoplefor most of his adult life, was a supreme opportunist who succeeded in traversing the whole evolution of U.S. policy toward Nazi criminals. He had profited during the war from the Nazi confiscation of Jewish property, then later from the defeat of Nazi Germany itself. Von Bolschwing enlisted as a CIC informer for the Americans in the spring of 1945.

Von Bolschwing joined the Nazi party at the age of twenty-three, and in the years leading up to 1939, he was a leading Nazi intelligence agent in the Middle East, where he worked under cover as an importer in Jerusalem. One of his first brushes with Nazi espionage work, according to captured SS records, was a role in creating a covert agreement between the Nazis and Fieval Polkes, a commander of the militant Zionist organization Haganah, whom von Bolschwing had met through business associates in the Mideast. Under the arrangement the Haganah was permitted to run recruiting and training camps for Jewish youth inside Germany. These young people, as well as certain other Jews driven out of Germany by the Nazis, were encouraged to emigrate to Palestine. Polkes and the Haganah, in return, agreed to provide the SS with intelligence about British affairs in Palestine. Captured German records claim that Polkes believed the increasingly brutal Nazi persecution of the Jews could be turned to Zionist advantage-at least temporarily-by compelling Jewish immigration to Palestine, and that the Haganah commander’s sole source of income, moreover, was secret funds from the SS.” [End of Excerpt]

In the last few days, Obama administration officials have frequently faced the question: Is the fighting in Libya a war?  From military officers to White House spokesmen up to the president himself, the answer is no.  But that leaves the question: What is it?

In a briefing on board Air Force One Wednesday, deputy national security adviser Ben Rhodes took a crack at an answer.  “I think what we are doing is enforcing a resolution that has a very clear set of goals, which is protecting the Libyan people, averting a humanitarian crisis, and setting up a no-fly zone,” Rhodes said.  “Obviously that involves kinetic military action, particularly on the front end.”

Rhodes’ words echoed a description by national security adviser Tom Donilon in a briefing with reporters two weeks ago as the administration contemplated action in Libya.  “Military steps — and they can be kinetic and non-kinetic, obviously the full range — are not the only method by which we and the international community are pressuring Gadhafi,” Donilon said.

Rhodes and Donilon are by no means alone.  “Kinetic” is heard in a lot of descriptions of what’s going on in Libya. “As we are successful in suppressing the [Libyan] air defenses, the level of kinetic activity should decline,” Defense Secretary Robert Gates said in a meeting with reporters in Moscow Tuesday.  In a briefing with reporters the same day from on board the USS Mount Whitney, Admiral Samuel Locklear, commander of Joint Task Force Odyssey Dawn, said, “The coalition brings together a wide array of capabilities that allow us to minimize the collateral damage when we have to take kinetic operations.”  On Monday, General Carter Ham, head of U.S. Africa Command, said of the coalition forces, “We possess certainly a very significant kinetic capability.”  And unnamed sources use it too. “In terms of the heavy kinetic portion of this military action, the president envisions it as lasting days, not weeks,” an unnamed senior official told CNN Saturday.
