…In Libya there are four major underground basins, these being the Kufra basin, the Sirt basin, the Morzuk basin and the Hamada basin, the first three of which contain combined reserves of 35,000 cubic kilometres of water. These vast reserves offer almost unlimited amounts of water for the Libyan people.

The people of Libya under the guidance of their leader, Colonel Muammar Al Qadhafi, initiated a series of scientific studies on the possibility of accessing this vast ocean of fresh water. Early consideration was given to developing new agricultural projects close to the sources of the water, in the desert. However, it was realized that on the scale required to provide products for self sufficiency, a very large infrastructure organization would be required. In addition to this, a major redistribution of the population from the coastal belt would be necessary. The alternative was to ‘bring the water to the people’.

In October 1983, the Great Man-made River Authority was created and invested with the responsibility of taking water from the aquifers in the south, and conveying it by the most economical and practical means for use, predominantly for irrigation, in the Libyan coastal belt.

By 1996 the Great Man-Made River Project had reached one of its final stages, the gushing forth of sweet unpolluted water to the homes and gardens of the citizens of Libya’s capital Tripoli. Louis Farrakhan, who took part in the opening ceremony of this important stage of the project, described the Great Man-Made River as "another miracle in the desert." Speaking at the inauguration ceremony to an audience that included Libyans and many foreign guests, Col. Qadhafi said the project "was the biggest answer to America… who accuse us of being concerned with terrorism."

The Great Man-Made River, as the largest water transport project ever undertaken, has been described as the "eighth wonder of the world". It carries more than five million cubic metres of water per day across the desert to coastal areas, vastly increasing the amount of arable land. The total cost of the huge project is expected to exceed $25 billion (US).

Consisting of a network of pipes buried underground to eliminate evaporation, four meters in diameter, the project extends for four thousand kilometres far deep into the desert. All material is locally engineered and manufactured. Underground water is pumped from 270 wells hundreds of meters deep into reservoirs that feed the network. The cost of one cubic meter of water equals 35 cents. The cubic meter of desalinized water is $3.75. Scientists estimate the amount of water to be equivalent to the flow of 200 years of water in the Nile River…..

So we watched the national news tonite, just to see what the MSM is yapping about.
It was mostly about Libya and "protecting the rights of the rebel fighters". Huh??
Clearly it’s about something other than rebel fighters rights as TPTB don’t give a particle about anyone’s rights. So My question is…Just WTF are we doing there??

A legacy from the 1800s leaves Tokyo facing blackouts

A decision made at the dawn of the electric age is complicating Japan’s efforts to keep the lights on

East Japan entered its fifth day of power rationing on Friday, with no end to the planned blackouts in sight. The power shortages began last week when a massive earthquake and tsunami knocked nuclear power stations offline. The local electrical utility can’t make up the shortfall by importing power from another region, though, because Japan lacks a national power grid, a consequence of a decision taken in the late 1800s.

Japan’s electricity system got its start in 1883 with the founding of Tokyo Electric Light Co. Demand quickly grew and in 1895 the company bought electricity generation equipment from Germany’s AEG. In west Japan the same evolution was taking place, and Osaka Electric Lamp imported equipment from General Electric.

The AEG equipment produced electricity at Europe’s 50Hz (hertz, or cycles per second) standard while the General Electric gear matched the U.S. 60Hz standard. That probably didn’t seem important at the time — after all, light bulbs are happy on either frequency — but the impact of those decisions is being seen today.

All of eastern Japan, including Tokyo and the disaster-struck region to the north, is standardized on 50Hz supply while the rest of the country uses 60Hz.

Connecting the two grids is possible, but it requires frequency changing stations. Three such facilities exist, but they have a total capacity of 1 gigawatt.

When the quake hit, it shut down 11 reactors including three that were in operation at the Fukushima Daiichi plant that is now at the center of Japan’s nuclear problems. With the 11 reactors offline, 9.7GW was gone from eastern Japan’s electricity production capacity.

And that’s the root of Tokyo’s current electricity problems: utility companies in west Japan are unable to make up for all of the lost power.

On Monday the government appealed to east Japan to cut consumption and the region responded. Lighting has been reduced in offices, neon signs are dark and passengers in some stations are being asked to take the stairs instead of the escalator.

A series of daily rolling blackouts was also introduced to keep total demand below supply. By switching off power to 10 million homes around Tokyo, the utility company is able to keep the lights burning in the capital.

Hello,

I just wanted to point out something about the footage I have seen with regard to monitoring the public in the area of the nuclear disaster in Japan. I only mention this because to the best of my knowledge it has not been stated elsewhere.

A number of years ago I used to work in the nuclear industry measuring radiation levels. I am wondering why the monitors have plastic bags over their radiation detectors whilst measuring radiation levels. It is well known that different radioactive particles have different abilities to penetrate materials. The three main types are Alpha, Beta and Gamma. Gamma is the most penetrating followed by Beta and then Alpha. Alpha is unable to penetrate even a piece of paper, so I doubt it will be able to penetrate a plastic bag either, unless the bag is made from a “special material.”

My point is that using a covering device over the detector will mean that people will not be aware of high levels of Alpha contamination and could be used as a way of giving the public false readings especially if there is alot of Alpha contamination about. Although Alpha radiation is the least penetrating it is also the MOST ionising radiation and so is more serious from a health point of view. If people inhale or are otherwise contaminated with an Alpha emitting material they run a much higher risk of developing cancers or other health problems.

It would be necessary to consult an expert in Radiological Protection to get their views on this topic as they will be up to date on the use of modern instrumentation and techniques. Also how much Alpha emitting material is likely to be involved in the disaster. Personally I believe it will be quite alot.

Is ‘I’m not worried’ a better way to phrase it? It’s like, whatever happens, happens, and will replay in the infinite time loop forever, minus my current stream of consciousness, which follows this ‘me’ wherever I go. Tomorrow, we are going to party hard and pig out at an East Indian buffet to celebrate the Equinox. Maybe I’ll write a poem from Hell knows whose perspective, for it. . .maybe I won’t.

I’m not changing ANYTHING about what I do.

Also, regardless where anyone is, they always are. No one EVER disappears. You KNOW that. Once something is, it never goes away. It may move, but it’s never gone. Transitioned, but meet again later.

Now I’m off on my walk around the 5 or 6 kilometre block to commune with my ‘midwayer’ demigods. Too bad my favourite rodeo horse (who now runs to me whenever he sees me), will be stabled due to the nice, heavy rainfall.

"The medicine wheel is used by the Lakota, as well as by many other Native American tribes, as a symbol that is encompassing of many different and separate aspects of the tribe’s cultural worldview.

Most prominent among these are the four spokes of the wheel representing the four cardinal directions. The circle around the spokes connects each of the four directions, symbolizing the connectedness and relativity of each direction along with those things which are represented by the directions.

The color yellow is usually associated with the East direction. Being the direction from which the sun rises, it is representative of new life, new beginnings, fire, and the sun.
The color white is usually associated with the North direction, which represents air, courage and bravery. The gift of the many animals on the earth also are said to be given by the great spirit from the north.

Another layer of symbolism found in the medicine wheel is that is can be used as a map for the human existence. The East direction is the spiritual aspect, North is the mental aspect, West is the physical, and South is the emotional.

These various layers of meaning found in the medicine wheel are all united in that they individually depict many important values in Lakota society individually, yet also maintain the importance of interconnectedness between the people and nature."

The part I am pointing out is that bit about
the races:
Yellow, White, Black, and Red

You see, there is that other race… the Brown People.
The ones the Elites go around the World killing.

Where do they fit in?

Well, if you mix all the other colors- yellow, white,
black and red, you wind up with the color BROWN.

I sort of think that the Brown Race, a mix of
all the others, may be the only hope of the
Human Race.

That may well be one reason they kill Brown people….

Yellow + White + Black + Red = Brown

Brown people are a confirmation that we are all ONE.

‘I’m sure those ‘working middle class’ folks will jump on this type of propaganda and support their criminal government in pushing slavery as an option to people who’ve simply been forced out of work through this created depression we’re sinking deeper and deeper into.

This film contains the themes I have been banging on about for more than two decades. I don’t agree with every statistical detail and personally I would not trust Paul R Ehrlich to tell me the time in a room full of clocks. 

But most of the themes are spot on, with the addition that protest alone is not enough. We need informed, streetwise protest, based on an understanding of how the ‘game’ is played and to what end, and, more than anything, we need peaceful, yet unshakeably determined, mass non-cooperation with the ‘old world’ of control and enslavement.
