Cop Caught On Camera Beating Special Education Student Marshawn Pitts (WATCH)
A south suburban Chicago police officer was caught on a security camera beating up a high school special education student, CBS2 reports.
Marshawn Pitts, 15, was walking down his school hallway when he says a Dolton, Ill. police officer went from berating him for his untucked shirt to slamming him to the ground and beating him.
“The officer was in his face because he didn’t have his shirt tucked in,” Pitts’ attorney told CBS 2’s Davis Savini. “That’s the officer put in that school to protect these kids, and instead of doing that, this officer is literally assaulting this kid.”
Neither school nor Dolton officials responded to CBS 2 about the story.

Any violence perpetuated by those who are supposed to protect us is proof there is no law. Police officers and any persons charged with leadership positions should be held to a higher standard, when they break the law they should be investigated by an entity not associated in any way with the government or law enforcement, to often when law enforcement officers are accused of a crime they are protected by the rest of the law enforcement community, this must stop. Police activities should be monitored by special groups charged with making sure that no favoritism is displayed and upon conviction special sentencing laws should be enacted for officials who abuse the public trust. This officer needs to be convicted of assault on a dependent person period!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

well… at least the kid’s got video proof. that equals more money squandered from the public chest because this fuckhead cop has an inferiority complex.
the black kid was probably mouthing off to him, but it’s our LEGAL RIGHT to speak our mind, to a cop or anyone else. if he was threatening the cop, then arrest him. there is no fucking need to throw him around like a sack of potatoes…
