Corporate Elitist Tells OccupyWallStreet Do Something Besides Block Traffic
A 1 percenter gets a stiff dose of reality when she says Wall Street is not trying to destroy the economy and I explain to her how Wall Street Bankers already have.
At 5:50 am in the morning a corporate elitist stopped by the Occupy Wall Street protest at Liberty Park to let them know how pissed she was that traffic blocked by the Brooklyn Bridge arrests, which stopped her from introducing her friend to a really good man.
That is apparently is one of the greatest stresses in her life but doesn’t seem to care when the UN comes to down and blocks traffic for a month.
She gets a stiff dose of reality when she says Wall Street is not trying to destroy the economy and I tell her Wall Street already has. I tell her 46 million Americans already live on food stamps, 50 million Americans live in poverty and lash out for Banks committing mortgage fraud. I explain to her how the manufacturing industry has been shipped over seas and American workers can’t compete with slave workers working in China.
She tells us to get a lobbyist and lobby for that.
Her disconnect with the realities of the struggles of the 99% is clear throughout this taped debate between her and several Occupy Wall Street protestors.
