After hearing about John McCain’s ridiculous criticism of Social Security — you know, the fact that it still functions the way it has for, oh, 75 years — CNBC’s Jim Cramer can’t help but laugh at the “disorganized” John McCain and his complete lack of knowledge about all things economic.
By now, it is widely known that the Supreme Court has weighed in on the debate over the rights of the prisoners at Gitmo. The court has stated that the detainees’ habeas corpus rights (the protection against an indefinite detention without charges and a trial) ought to be respected.
Referring to the human beings who are still being detained at Guantanamo Bay, McCain stated, “These are people who are not citizens. They do not and never have been given the rights that citizens in this country have” (emphasis added).
So our rights are given to us? Interesting.
I might ask McCain at the out-set, since you apparently believe that only citizens have rights (presumably “given” to them in the Constitution) where exactly in text of the Constitution does the Constitution give this right the right of habeas corpus?
(Article continues below)
You won’t find it. The Constitution only puts limits on the removal of habeas corpus, which implies that human beings possess this right naturally, and that habeas corpus is not some peculiar civil privilege, such as welfare, or some right that only citizens have, such as voting in our elections.
Similarly, human beings possess the rights in the Bill of Rights naturally, and as such, government is prevented from infringing upon them in the first ten amendments to the Constitution. But the rights are not granted by the government or the Constitution; we already had the rights as human beings!
I recommend that McCain read the Declaration of Independence. He has admitted that he is ignorant of economics, so perhaps he needs to brush up on his political theory and History, as well.
The Declaration of Independence declares the self-evident truth that God gave us our rights and that we are “endowed by our creator” with “unalienable rights,” such as, “life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.”
Unalienable. Can’t be taken away. God-given natural rights. This is extremely important. Pay attention.
You see, if governments have “given” you “rights,” well then guess who can take them away at their will. Governments! McCain’s dangerous philosophy of rights as privileges is a recipe for tyranny. Government gives us our liberty? Is he serious? Well then that makes the state our god.
In reality, when something is granted, it is not a right at all. Something that is granted is, by nature, a mere privilege that can be revoked upon the whim of the entity which granted it–in this case, government…a scary notion, indeed.
A right, on the other hand, is unalienably possessed by somebody because he is the rightful owner of his life, liberty, and property. His own body, his thoughts, his decisions to move about, his money and possessions, etc.
These rights are his naturally. They are his property.
Rights are rooted in ownership of the property in question, and this very concept is God-ordained, thus we say that our rights are “God-given.”
They are NOT granted by government. They are NOT merely a privilege of citizenship.
Under the American philosophy of government where our rights are natural, or God-given, we have the power of free action that is limited only by the equal rights of others. And only when we impede upon the rights of others can government legitimately intervene to punish the criminal aggressor…and it can only do that through due process (they have to prove your guilt in a fair, speedy, jury trial).
The right of habeas corpus has been recognized as a basic right since the Magna Carta.
McCain is reversing the progress of human rights 800 years.
It doesn’t take the great mind of an ACLU liberal to figure this out.
As Ronald Reagan said, “The very heart and soul of conservatism is libertarianism.” McCain, once again, betrays conservative values of limited government and God-given property rights. His is the view that the state is supreme.
Liberty and justice for all. But for McCain…just the privileged few. Just pray that you stay in the good graces of an arbitrary McCain government, because where the government grants “rights,” it can take them away. So watch yourself dissenters…especially because McCain has a “volcanic temper.” Will the American people let this man be the next ‘decider’?

Arizona state senator Karen Johnson (R-18) today delivered a letter to the office of U.S. Senator John McCain asking him to meet with a group of professionals to discuss the events of 9/11 when terrorists hijacked four airplanes and attacked the World Trade Center and the Pentagon. One plane crashed in Pennsylvania.
Johnson recently announced her support for a new, independent investigation of 9/11. “Even the chairman of the commission has announced his dissatisfaction with the report,” said Johnson. “Anyone who reads the report can see that much was left out and that there are many discrepancies,” she said.
Johnson’s letter requests that McCain allow a meeting with Scottsdale professor, Blair Gadsby, who has been on a hunger strike outside McCain’s office on 16th Street for nine days. Gadsby has arranged for architect Richard Gage and physicist Steven Jones to meet with McCain at his convenience to present evidence of controlled demolition gathered from the ruins of Ground Zero. Gage is the founder of Archetects & Engineers for 9/11 Truth – a group consisting of hundreds of building professionals who want Congress to open up a new investigation of 9/11. Dr. Jones is a physicist who has done laboratory analysis of residue from the rubble of the World Trade Center and found evidence of explosives. Both Gage and Jones believe that the Twin Towers and Building 7 collapsed as a result of explosives that were planted in the buildings before September 11.
“Their evidence is very significant,” said Johnson, “because it wasn’t presented to the 9/11 Commission when they did their original investigation, and it completely changes the conclusions of the Commission. There’s nothing wrong with going back and having another look. If the Commission didn’t have all the facts, then so be it. But we need to know what happened on 9/11. Nearly 3,000 Americans died that day, and we deserve to know the truth about what happened. It’s time to get to the bottom of this.”
Johnson and Hunger-Striker Gadsby want McCain to allow Jones and Gage to present the evidence to him. “Senator McCain wants to be elected to the highest office in this country,” said Senator Johnson, “and he needs to know the truth about 9/11. Finding answers to 9/11 should be a significant part of this presidential campaign. The events of 9/11 led to this war with Iraq, to the creation of the Dept. of Homeland Security, to the loss of habeus corpus, the use of wiretaps, the push for a national ID, and other legislation that deprives us of freedom. This is a very significant issue, and no one is discussing it. Our presidential candidates need to talk about this.”
Senator John McCain
U.S. Senate
241 Russell Senate Office Building
Washington, D.C. 20510-0303
Dear Senator McCain:
You are no doubt aware that a “Hunger-for-Truth” hunger strike is taking place outside your Phoenix office. Each day since Memorial Day (May 26), Blair has arrived at about 6 a.m. and spent the day until approximately 10:30 p.m., distributing literature about 9/11 to passing pedestrians and motorists. Blair is not eating any food at all and drinks only water. Today is Day 9 of the hunger strike.
Blair and his thousands of supporters around the country are requesting that you give two hours of your time to some experts who would like to present evidence about the destruction of the Twin Towers and Building 7 on Sept. 11, 2001. We all appreciate how full your schedule is, but the many important unanswered questions about 9/11 demand answers. I am respectfully requesting that you meet with Blair and the experts he has arranged. I understand that you hae promised to address the 9/11 issue in the near future. For this I am grateful.
You might have heard some absurd claims about 9/11, but we are not responsible for what all 9/11 skeptics say. We are responsible only for what WE say, and what we say is rock solid. Well qualified professionals in the fields of physics, engineering, and architecture reject the idea that the World Trade Center buildings came down as a result of the impact of the planes and fire. Building 7 wasn’t even hit by an airplane and the fires in that building were small and contained. Yet all three skyscrapers came down very evenly and very fast. These experts have analyzed the evidence with sound scientific procedures and have concluded that the buildings came down through the use of explosives as are used in controlled demolitions. I have spoken with these experts myself, and I agree with their findings.
The American people expect and deserve complete answers to what was really involved in the most lethal attack on U.S. soil Since Pearl Harbor. The families of the innocent victims of U.S. military action in Afghanistan and Iraq also deserve to know the truth. The events of 9/11 need to be investigated thoroughly and openly. That hasn’t been done yet.
Please give Blair and his experts the time they need to provide you with this very important, credible information.
The Trilateral Commission—one of the three most powerful globalist groups in the world—held closed-door meetings right here in Washington, D.C. from April 25 to 28. True to form, those members of the media who knew about the meeting—or were themselves participants in the proceedings—refused to discuss what went on inside or report on the attendees. Luckily, AFP’s own editor, Jim Tucker, was on the scene to bust this clandestine confabulation wide open.
Luminaries at the Trilateral Commission meeting in Washington expressed confidence that they own all three major presidential candidates, who, despite political posturing, will support sovereignty-surrendering measures such as NAFTA and the “North American Union.”
The second item of interest this morning was titled “The New Feudalism” by Moss David Posner. David postulates in this essay that Americans have a disconnect to reality that has been carefully groomed over the years to make them susceptible to things that they would normally not accept. He goes on to conclude,
The current crop of international criminals wishes to reduce the world to one large feudal system. Such a notion endured for many centuries before. Could they really believe such is possible? Could they really pull it off? In this last regard, history does not speak in our favor.
Connecting the dots, one would have to conclude that David is absolutely correct in his conclusion. It all makes sense.
Standing Orders for the Next President
According to James Tucker,
This panel [Trilateral Commission] had these orders for the next president: increase foreign aid across the board because “America does not pay its fair share,” pay up the arrears in UN dues, allow as many immigrants into the United States as want to come and provide “amnesty” for illegal aliens already here.
Why else would the Trilateral Commission’s standing orders for the next President include such things as open borders, illegal alien amnesty, and shelling out even more taxpayer money, if not to reduce American citizens to lives of servitude and desperation?
All three handpicked Presidential candidates will do nothing to stop NAFTA or the NAU. In fact, they have pledged to support them. Here are quotes from the Trilateral Commission’s meeting regarding the candidates’ stand on these issues:
“John has always supported free trade, even while campaigning before union leaders… Hil and Barack are pretending to be unhappy about some things, but that’s merely political posturing. They’re solidly in support…” referring to Sens. John McCain (R-Ariz.), Hillary Clinton (D-N.Y.) and Barack Obama (D-Ill.). Mrs. Clinton, they noted, held strategy sessions as first lady on how to get Congress to approve NAFTA “without changes.” As president, they agreed, she would do no more than “dot an i or cross a t.” Candidate Obama has not denied news reports in Canada that his top economic adviser, Austan Goolsbee, assured Canadian diplomats that the senator would keep NAFTA intact and his anti-trade talk is just “campaign rhetoric.” (Tucker, 2008)
The Trilateral Commission members concluded that the only real danger is Ron Paul.
They expressed concern that Paul’s rallies have attracted multitudes of young people who are getting “their political education.” They want Republicans to pressure Paul to drop out now and stop his education rallies. This assignment was given to Thomas Foley, former U.S. House speaker. (Tucker, 2008)
An educated and informed populace is not on the agenda for these New World Order (NWO) promoters. After all, have you ever seen an educated feudal serf?
The Stockholm Syndrome
Remember President Bush saying after 9/11 “if you are not with us, you are with the terrorists?” Who is this “us?” Why, the global elite of course. You thought it was all loyal Americans? Think again. Who are “the terrorists?” anyone besides the global elite. And what do you do with terrorists? If you are the ruling power, you exterminate, torture, and use them to accomplish your objectives. You keep them uninformed, fill their lives with propaganda and lies, and make them believe that there is nothing they can do about it. In fact, if you’re very good at what you do, they even learn to love you for it. This phenomenon is called the Stockholm Syndrome.
The Stockholm syndrome occurs when abused persons show signs of loyalty to their abuser/s because they become emotionally attached. How do you get your victim to become emotionally attached? According to Katina Krasnic, “This development occurs when there are perceived threats of violence, disempowerment of the subject, high levels of stress or trauma upon subject, and ultimate dependence upon the person in control for base survival” (LINK).
Isn’t this exactly what our government is doing? The population is bombarded with perceived threats of terrorism, our basic human rights are being confiscated before our eyes and we are becoming more disempowered by the day. People are under high levels of stress due to the threat of violence, as well as foreclosures, gasoline prices, lowering wages, loss of jobs, lack of medical care, and the myriad of other ways stress is induced. This stress creates the ultimate dependence desired by the abusers in power, and is exactly what is happening at this very moment. By the time the program is complete, people will be running to the government to protect them from the government, and thus, the serfdom noose tightens; and as good little serfs, will defend their master to the death.
In an act of self-delusion, the victims of Stockholm Syndrome develop conditions in order to reassure themselves that they will be protected or cared for. By creating a false emotional attachment and seeking praise and approval of their captor, they attempt to make a false reality for themselves, in which no harm can come to them. And by defending and/or protecting their captors from police or anyone who “comes to the rescue,” they allow themselves to appear as if they have some control in a relationship which they really have no power. The value of their lives, which the captor grants, is seen as a sign of affection or love, and the captive wishes to reciprocate in order to maintain their own position at that time. By accepting a level of objectification that one should reject as a matter of basic human dignity, hostages or captives weaken their ability to control their emotions. This allows them to become malleable, thus becoming easily susceptible to the whims of their captors, and creates this unbalanced relationship of attachment between the captor and the captive. (Krasnec, 2008)
Presidential Elections and the Road to Serfdom
Our Presidential elections are an emotional parade in which charlatans called candidates create a false reality for a nation of Stockholm Syndrome victims who desperately need to believe that someone in a high place actually cares about what happens to them. This is a carefully constructed delusion. While the populace lives the delusion and buys into the lies perpetrated by these Trilateral Commission globalist lackeys, the real players work the sidelines and act as shills in a crowd of marks, spurring the act on.
Wake up! John, Hillary, and Obama do not care one iota about the people of this country. They are charlatans in a circus staged for no other purpose than to push the people of this country further down the road to delusion and serfdom.
There is no doubt in this writer’s mind that feudalism is the global elite’s plan for the earth’s population. David Posner has nailed it. Americans are to be reduced to serfdom in this Utopia envisioned by the Trilateral Commission, Bilderbergs, and the rest of the criminals in power in a worldwide conspiracy to dominate life itself.
What Chance Do We Have?
The only chance that we as a people have is that these “leaders” do not perceive their own weaknesses because of arrogance. The more power they get, the more arrogant they get, and the weaker they become. As one ascends into the heights of arrogance, the less aware a person becomes of any personal weakness, and as any fighter knows, if an opponent is not aware of personal weakness, vulnerabilities are created. The key is to study one’s opponent, and prepare one’s self to strike at his/her undefended weakness. You cannot study your opponent if you are too engrossed in his/her charade by being a good little Stockholm Syndrome victim.
Therefore, I encourage people to think outside the box. Do not get wrapped up in the emotional hype surrounding the three Presidential “frontrunners.” They are all supporting the same ideology, and that is feudal serfdom for America as well as the rest of the world. Wake up! Join the people willing to think beyond the hype. Start studying your adversary and spreading the word about the weaknesses you encounter. It is the only chance we have.
“My friends, I will have an energy policy which will eliminate our dependence on oil from Middle East that will then prevent us from having ever to send our young men and women into conflict again in the Middle East.”
Sen. John McCain says that if he’s elected president, he wants to create a worldwide “League of Democracies” to “revive democratic solidarity” and bypass gridlock at the United Nations.
“The new League of Democracies would form the core of an international order of peace based on freedom. It could act where the U.N. fails to act,” such as in Darfur, McCain says in advance excerpts of a speech he’s making Tuesday to the Hoover Institution.
According to the excerpts, provided by his campaign, McCain envisions the new organization taking on AIDS in sub-Saharan Africa and “the crisis in our environment.” He says it could also put pressure on tyrants in Burma or Zimbabwe “with or without Moscow’s and Beijing’s approval.”
Sounds like Russia and China might not be invited to join. Asked about that, McCain spokesman Danny Diaz declined to elaborate.
McCain says he would call a summit of world democracies in his first year to explore the practical steps needed to realize his vision.
Judicial Watch, the public interest group that investigates and prosecutes government corruption, announced today that it filed a formal complaint, dated April 22, 2008, with the Federal Election Commission (FEC) related to a fundraising luncheon held at London’s Spencer House to benefit Senator John McCain’s presidential campaign. The venue for the event was apparently donated to the campaign by foreign nationals, in violation of federal campaign finance laws.
“Recent news reports suggest that Sen. John McCain and John McCain for President may have accepted an in-kind contribution from foreign nationals Lord Rothschild OM GBE and the Hon. Nathaniel Rothschild of Great Britain in contravention of federal election laws,” Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton wrote in a complaint letter dated April 22, 2008. “On behalf of Judicial Watch and its supporters, I hereby request that the FEC investigate the matter.”
The McCain fundraiser was held on March 20, 2008 at London’s Spencer House, billed as “London’s most magnificent 18th century private palace.” The McCain campaign distributed an invitation indicating that the site for the luncheon had been provided “by kind permission of Lord Rothschild, OM GBE and the Hon. Nathaniel Rothschild,” who are both foreign nationals. In statements to the press, the McCain campaign referred to the luncheon as a “fundraiser.”
While it is, as yet, unclear how much money was raised during the luncheon, had the venue not been donated to the McCain campaign, the net profit from the event would have been significantly reduced. The donation of the venue, therefore, represents an illegal in-kind campaign contribution.
According to 2 U.S.C. § 441e, Contributions and donations by foreign nationals, it is illegal for any foreign national to “make a contribution or donation of money or other thing of value” to a Federal, State or Local election. (Judicial Watch filed a similar complaint on April 14, 2008, concerning a fundraiser by Elton John for Hillary Clinton’s campaign.)
“The Clinton campaign recently accepted an in-kind contribution in the form of a fundraising concert by Elton John. And now the McCain campaign has apparently run afoul of federal election laws with this foreign fundraiser. The FEC must treat these incidents seriously, and hold any campaign that accepts contributions from foreign nationals accountable. We cannot allow these presidential campaigns to play fast and loose with the law,” stated Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton.
The leaders of the United States, Mexico and Canada defended the 14-year-old North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) at the conclusion of an annual summit here on Tuesday.
“Now is not the time to renegotiate NAFTA or walk away from NAFTA. Now is the time to make it work better for all our people and now is time to reduce trade barriers worldwide,” Bush told a joint news conference with his Mexican counterpart Felipe Calderon and Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper.
Turning on an abortive bill on a free trade agreement with Columbia, Bush blamed Democrats for their efforts to block it on Congress.
“It makes no sense to me to say that Columbian goods can come into our country duty free, yet our goods can’t go into Columbia duty free,” Bush said.
He said that a failure by the U.S. Congress to pass the agreement would send “a terrible signal” to neighboring countries.
“An agreement with Columbia would level the playing field,” he said, adding that it was a “bad decision” for Nancy Pelosi, speaker of the House of Representatives, to have blocked a vote on the deal.
Pelosi has refused to schedule a vote on the agreement with Columbia, a move Bush said could effectively kill it this year.
U.S. Senators Barack Obama and Hillary Rodham Clinton, who are locked in a bitter struggle for the Democratic party’s presidential nomination, have threatened to renegotiate NAFTA or even pull back from it if elected.
Bush also expressed concern over the rising prices of oil for U.S. consumers as it surged to a fresh high above 119 U.S. dollars a barrel.
But he denied that the U.S. economy is being dragged down into a recession by the subprime mortgages meltdown.
“We are not in a recession, we are in a slowdown,” said Bush, who has repeatedly expressed confidence in the resilience of the U.S. economy.
Echoing Bush’s comments, Calderon said that “this is not the time to even think about amending it or canceling it.”
“This is the time to strengthen and reinvigorate this free trade agreement among our three countries,” Calderon said.
The Mexican president said that NAFTA has helped create jobs, improved services and enhanced people’s quality of life and that “we want these benefits to reach more and more of our citizens.”
Calderon announced that the next North American Leaders’ Summit will be held in Mexico in 2009.
In his remarks, Harper said NAFTA was “critically important” for jobs and posterity on both sides of the border, saying that it would be a mistake to renegotiate it.
Harper stressed the importance of energy security, describing it as a “critical part of NAFTA arrangements.”
“Canada is the biggest and most stable supplier of energy to the United States in the world,” said the prime minister.
The press conference capped the North American leaders’ annual summit under the framework of the Security and Prosperity Partnership (SPP) launched in March 2005.
Earlier in the day, they met with top business leaders from the three countries before heading into formal talks.
Apart from the free trade issue, the three leaders also spent the two days at the summit discussing broad topics such as food safety, emergency responses, energy supply, border security, environmental protection and organized crime.
McCain Supports North American Integration, League of Democracies
“Ours can be the first completely democratic hemisphere, where trade is free across all borders, where the rule of law and the power of free markets advance the security and prosperity of all.”
Republican Presidential candidate John McCain has openly declared his supportive stance on the Security and Prosperity Partnership in a March 2008 speech to the Los Angeles World Affairs Council.
“McCain’s World Affairs speech must rightfully be considered his “coming out” speech in which he unflinchingly revealed his true globalist nature and his mission as a foot soldier in the New World Order.”
“With globalization, our hemisphere has grown closer, more integrated, and more interdependent. Latin America today is increasingly vital to the fortunes of the United States. Americans north and south share a common geography and a common destiny. The countries of Latin America are the natural partners of the United States, and our northern neighbor Canada.
Relations with our southern neighbors must be governed by mutual respect, not by an imperial impulse or by anti-American demagoguery. The promise of North, Central, and South American life is too great for that. I believe the Americas can and must be the model for a new twenty-first century relationship between North and South. Ours can be the first completely democratic hemisphere, where trade is free across all borders, where the rule of law and the power of free markets advance the security and prosperity of all.”
John McCain’s globalist stance also came to light in a speech he gave to the Hoover Institution. A transcript for this speech is carried on the Council on Foreign Relations website. Going further than just a more “integrated” and “interdependent” North America, McCain stated in the May 2007 speech that he desires a “…worldwide League of Democracies” that would form an “…international order of peace based on freedom.” The new league would accompany the United Nations. He stated,
“This League of Democracies would not supplant the United Nations or other international organizations. It would complement them. But it would be the one organization where the world’s democracies could come together to discuss problems and solutions on the basis of shared principles and a common vision of the future. If I am elected president, I will call a summit of the world’s democracies in my first year to seek the views of my democratic counterparts and begin exploring the practical steps necessary to realize this vision.”
A McCain presidency will surely bring more globalist policy and a further move towards North American Integration and world governance. These policies are becoming increasingly unpopular, however. Globalist think tanks have admitted that the United States remains the largest obstacle to building a North American Community. Will a new president succeed in selling these plans to America?
