I was abused and terrorized, threatened to death by a police officer to drop a relief from abuse order, X-husband had friends such as state attorney and for 13yrs the court Judges believed every lie he told them about me and proceeded to threaten me,punish me,do many illegal crimes pertaining to changing documents etc. This was worse than I can tell you about now. It was all because I tried to stand up for my and my daughters rights and I was falsely arrested, and finally with the help of Dr’s (2) that told me they had been threatened if they didn’t change my file to say I had a drug problem and I was mentally ill, and another officer who lied and said I tried to assault her with my cane and said I wanted to kill myself which is exactly what they all knew would get me involentarily committed to Vermont State Hospitol. I was misdiagnosed, force drugged for an illness I never had, beat up more than 2 times by staff badly and when I tried to get help for myself and other patients by calling VP&A….NOBODY came! No lawyer, no hearing until it was over,etc.
The strangest part was someone left me a catalog on my bed about the The Fiscal Year Review of The Dept Of Mental Health for the year of 2002-2003! Also there really was a presence of “undercover” people of some kind. I have been intuitive all my life and I used to joke with a friend about how everyone thinks the CIA,FBI,KGB and you name it were there spying on everyone.
I will confirm alot of what Karen W. went through because not only did they do these things to me but other patients as well. They would lie in my chart and completly make up and fabricate stories about being violent or other bad things that never happened. I was beat up very badly for asking for a drink of water! They ripped my jewely off me and stole it, never to get it back. A few psych techs would tell me things in secret for fear of losing their jobs.
I never could get anyonyone to help me and I was forced drugged and coerced through fear and told I wouldn’t get my normal other meds if I didn’t take the high doses of Abilify which they had me on for 6 yrs!
I believed after reading that catalog about the finances the State got from the Fed. government it was going into every place but where it was supposed to be going.Someday the truth will come out. All the same Dr’s and techs are working there still lying in the patient records and abusing the patients and the Dr’s just cover for them.
Someday, people won’t be afraid to tell the truth.
