Has Henry Makow Lost His Mind?

Makow Points the “Freemasonic” Finger at the Boy Scouts of America

In his latest chart-topper, Canadian Jew-turned-Christian Dr. Henry Makow–creator of the board game Scruples–has claimed that the Boy Scouts of America is a front for homosexual freemasonry.

In an article entitled “Boy Scouts-Model of Masonic Subversion?” Makow refers to the BSA as:

“an organization that was probably founded by a homosexual to “scout” fresh talent for the British Empire’s pedophile elite.“

This is just too much of a leap of conjecture for me. A leap of conjecture not for what he says about the BSA, but a leap of conjecture in believing that Makow himself does not have an agenda. I’m not saying he is paid or controlled opposition. One can be blinded by their own personal agenda, whether it’s consciously or subconsciously.

I’ve been reading Makow’s articles for five or six years, and have usually found him to be scholarly and serious. Like every other writer, I vetted him and his sources for a while before daring to take what he said at face value. But there have been a few things in the past few years which have raised my alarm bells regarding Mr. Makow. This article is just too much. Has Makow become just another piss-ant gossip columnist?

There is absolutely no proof pointed out in the article that the founder of the Scouts, Robert Baden Powell, was a homosexual. Makow points to Powell’s being raised by his mother, and the fact that he knew important British figures as evidence of Powell’s homosexuality.

Quotes from Makow’s article:

Although married with three children, he was probably a homosexual. His father died when he was three-years-old. Subsequently, Robert was raised by his mother, “a strong woman who was determined that her children would succeed.” Baden-Powell would say of her in 1933 “The whole secret of my getting on, lay with my mother.”

[This is supposed to point to Powell's homosexuality? Because his father died and his mother raised him? He was "probably a homosexual?"]

“He rose to the rank of Lieutenant General and fought with distinction in Britain’s colonial wars subduing Zulus and Boers. His cohorts, from Lord Kitchener to King Edward VII were homosexuals, Freemasons and debauchees.”

[So now we dishonor people and their memories by applying guilt by association? How many Lieutenant Generals can you point out that haven't had prominent cohorts who may or may not have been homosexuals and Freemasons?]

“His gravestone bears a circle with a dot in the center, which is the trail sign for “Going home”, or “I have gone home.” This is also a symbol of the Illuminati, representing penis and vagina.”

[Those gosh darn wily Freemasons with their hidden penis and vagina symbols...]

I was personally a Cub Scout, Webelo, and Boy Scout (all part of BSA). I am a living example of the good done by this organization. I can honestly say that my experience in the Boy Scouts did more to shape the healthiest parts of my life than anything besides the love of my parents and family. My father was my scoutmaster, and all the scouts loved him.

There was NOT ONE HINT of sexuality in my years of experience with the BSA–homosexual or heterosexual. They wanted boys to be boys. Those attributes such as honesty, reverence, etc–they were genuinely promoted. It may be difficult for those who weren’t part of it to understand, but whether the organization itself was started or taken over by homosexual criminal deviants or not, it has done mostly good for the kids who have been involved with it. It taught me to be charitable and honest. Furthermore, it taught me that truth is invaluable.

Let us not be deceived into thinking any organization which is large is “in on it.” Let us rather observe the facts. If you know not from whence you declaim, maybe you should shut your damn trap. It is safe to say that most organizations are corrupt, but nothing is black and white. Corruption in an organization may imply the possibility of adherence to the world takeover, but it does not prove it. Granted, there is a question mark at the end of the title of Makow’s article, but the implication that Powell started the BSA to “scout” for boys to rape is present throughout the article.

Most Freemasons are normal people who have no idea about the world takeover, and those Freemasons who do know of it are NOT LOYAL to Freemasonry–THUS, THEIR SUBVERSION OF FREEMASONRY. The fact that there are so many Freemasons in this country (again, most of whom are just in it for camaraderie or charity) explains why there is so much Freemason symbolism everywhere. All the symbolism proves is that the Freemasons have influence and money. This does not mean every trail sign has an equivalent and devious secondary meaning for Freemasonry.

I do not mean to say there is no credibility to hidden symbolism. I mean to say there are a billion shades of gray, and speculation on a subject such as this does far more harm than good. I mean, what if the Boy Scouts have nothing to do with the world takeover? Then Mr. Makow has helped sow seeds of doubt in what very well could be one of the last holdouts of what was good about this country.

Makow’s article is mostly speculation, and poorly knit together speculation at that. Makow has done plenty of good work, but I suppose I feel obligated to say something about this claptrap, owing to the fact that I have much direct experience with the Boy Scouts.

It flies under radar as much as possible within this world’s communist and feminist milieu. If I were to take your attacks seriously enough, I would issue a scathing rebuttal. For now, however, I will just be able to name you a limp-dick.
