Is Alex Jones a scaremonger?

Denver Progressive ExaminerChris Steele

Many followers of Alex Jones and his web-site infowars.com are full of terrifying conspiracies of a new world order.  Many critics of Alex Jones claim that his conspiracies never come true and that there is not much research behind what he says.

William Cooper author of the book Behold a Pale Horse exposed Alex Jones as a scaremonger just before William Cooper was killed by authorities in 2001.  William Cooper explained how on New Year’s Eve of 1999 Alex Jones’ radio show was full of lies, propaganda and scare tactics.  Cooper explained how Alex Jones discredited patriots with his acts of fear mongering.  According to William Cooper, Jones’ radio broadcast on that night could have created mass panic that led to martial law.

Cooper believed that Alex Jones is trying to make Americans violent so martial law can take place.  On New Year’s Eve of 1999 Alex Jones explained how cash machines were failing, explosives were going off in France, missiles being launched in Russia and how China was being attacked.  Alex Jones also began shouting about how there were more wars going on at that time than in the last 50 years.  Alex Jones even said that hundreds of thousands of people were dying on the last day of 1999.  None of these so called wars or mass killings were taking place.  Jones succeeded in panicking large amounts of people that night and is still succeeding to this day.

Some who oppose Alex Jones believe he is a change agent who is trying to inspire violence so the United States has a revolution.  Other’s claim that he is part of a secret government project called ‘mockingbird’ where a commercial broadcaster infiltrates the media.  One of Cooper’s favorite quotes was, “Whoever fires the first shot loses.” Many claims and accusations of conspiracies are being made by Alex Jones but solutions are seldom offered.

Supporters of Alex Jones call him a true patriot and much of the alternative media appreciate the attention he has brought to out of the box thinking on commercial media.  So is Alex Jones exposing conspiracies or is he inspiring fear in hopes of creating martial law?  Maybe he was just a victim of reporting so-called facts and stories that he didn’t research or maybe he is being fed false information.  William Cooper often said, “We must have moral high ground.” Scaring each other will get us nowhere except in a bunker with water and ammunition in the mountains.  Topics such as immigration, H1N1 vaccinations and an Orwellian new world order all need to be researched and openly discussed with a foundation of education.  Scaremongering fictional e-mails that have Obama, Rush Limbaugh and Oprah saying this and that need to be researched not gossiped and forwarded to your friends and co-workers.  So the next time you hear some frightening news do your research and see if a panic merchant sold you some chicken fried fear.

Yes, Alex Jones is a fearmonger. Nothing he has been doing lately has been to help the ‘community’ only to hurt it’s credibility and to line his own pockets. Not that that’s bad, if you have some idiots to milk, then do so but it’s SO close to the televangelists of the 80s that it’s sad. he openly contradicts himself and then lies about it, says the most insane things, looks like an idiot in his ‘main stream media’ shots… if he isn’t doing it on purpose then he is a REAL idiot. But I think he’s a bit smarter than that. He’s getting paid to collect names of his supporters and to incite them to send videos of them committing crimes to him (the $1000 vandalism contest)

Yes, this article asks some fair questions, many of the same questions many of us who seek *TRuth* are asking. I’ll just add my 2 cents, I think the stories that appear on Jones’ Infowars are quite timely and themselves bring up some very worthwhile topics, and I don’t have any problem perse with the stories, even though some appear overblown and sensationalized. BUt is it perhaps BAIT?!?!

The real problem I see on Jones’ site is his message board that DOES often appear to delete most all intelligent posts and DOES seem to have provacateurs that appear there only to try and entrap someone into saying something that might be used against them. The board is DEFINATELY comprimised, but whether from the ‘inside’, or perhaps outside (NSA, FBI, other?), or both is hard to tell. I have personally watched so many of my own better posts there simply disappear, even after they were up, and i have often seen stories where some good posts got through, simply vansish after the message board on the story really started to get accurate info. The posts that seem to never get deleted are the ones that flame, BS,and make people look like idiots etc. and this really seems by DESIGN it’s so regular. My gut instinct is that Jones’ message board is there to try and ENTRAP, possibly to get someone to do or say something vilolent, and perhaps to be used as a gov. tool to get ISP’s and or email addresses. I urge CAUTION and prudence to anyone who wants to post and try and share their thoughts there.

Alex Jones is more than just a scare monger. The last past 2-3 years, a lot of light is being shed on his level of involvement the take down of the Browns, and Cirino Reno Gonzalez. Exactly the depths are still somewhat a mystery, having people posing as supporters go up to the Browns property and home to gain intel, he has deep pockets where he had paid one US Marshal Amy Williamson at least $17,000 for her involvement in posing as a friend, supporter and a financial scout in securing monies that were supposed to fund a trip for Reno to go to Iraq for peace movement activism and education about DU. Also the people Jones got Reno in contact with were agents of the CIA and DHS whom were interested in forking out lots of money to my husband for false flag operations and to attack military instillations while in the mid east, my husband declined and hightailed it back home. A few days later, September 12th 2007 Reno was arrested supposedly for his part in the Ed and Elaine Brown stand off. Now if you would like to play a short game of connect the dots, look at Alex’s associates, Larry Pratt, Shaun Kranish and this Dutch character. We all know that Larry Death Squad Pratt and Jones are good friends, and supposedly a good friend of all gun owners since he’s the dude for GOA (gun owners of America) but did you know about Larry’s involvement with the Contras and he rubbed elbows with Ollie North. Yeah Larry was apart of that whole ordeal. But did you also know that Shaun Krannish had some legal issues, one was something about carrying a weapon on a college campus, in which Larry stepped in to save the day. And that Shaun tried to use a liberty dollar to pay for some ice cream, in which months afterward the Liberty Dollar people got raided and their stock stolen by federal authorities. Well back to the situation of the Browns, did you know in a phone interview where Krannish called into the prison and spoke to Ed, Ed asked him why did he bring those guys up here, instead of sounding shocked, he states, you mean Dutch…. Well I’m sure you all have heard that phone conversation, and boy is it damning! Too many associates of Jones having to do with the arrests of some Real Americans, not to mention in particular court documents there is some mention of an UNNAMED Austin area popular radio show host whom is tied up in the matter that Amy Williamson is connected too. Well just a wee bit into the living hell Ive been having for the past 2 years.
    Thanks for reading.
