Lebanon and Israel send army to border

Lebanese army put units on the border with Israel on high alert after clashes between Israeli forces and Lebanese yesterday, while Israel has vowed to return to the border area to uproot the trees.
This came after an emergency meeting held on the Supreme Defense Council in Lebanon, headed by President Michel Suleiman and attended by Minister and Commander of the Armed Forces, the Council stressed in a statement that he gave his directives to address each assault on Lebanon by available means and whatever the sacrifices.
The clashes that took place yesterday between Israeli forces and Lebanese resulted in the death of two Lebanese soldiers and a journalist and wounded four other soldiers. The event also caused the killing of an Israeli officer lieutenant colonel and wounding two others.
