MIAMI — Police are at Miami International Airport after what appears to be an aerosol can exploded inside a bag on the tarmac. No one was injured.
Detective Edna Hernandez says the bag was being transported Tuesday when something exploded in it.
The bag was damaged and shreds of what appears to have been a pressurized can recovered. The Miami-Dade Police Department’s bomb squad will determine exactly what was inside the bag.
Hernandez says there was no threat to anyone at the airport.
Miami International Airport did not immediately respond to a message left by The Associated Press.
