In a March 5th appearance on the Alex Jones radio show, Congressman Ron Paul was discussing Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke’s remarks that Ron Paul’s allegations were “absolutely bizarre”
Ron Paul while questioning Bernanke in February, said “It has been reported in the past that in the 1980s, the Fed facilitated a $5.5 billion to Saddam Hussein and he then bought weapons from our military industrial complex…” to which Bernanke replied “Well, congressman, these specific allegations you’ve made, I think are absolutely bizarre and I have absolutely no knowledge of anything like what you’ve just described,” [See 3:20 in the video here].
In the March 5th interview with Jones, Congressman Paul expressed his offense at being written off and called bizarre by Bernanke: “…He used the word bizarre, so he was accusing me of being bizarre, which means anybody who agrees with my concerns are considered bizzare as well … to call this bizarre is off the wall.. to just write us off and say I’ve never heard of…”. Paul goes on to explain that he has concerns which should be investigated.
Yet Paul himself has derided others concerns regarding the government as “preposterous and bizarre” while chatting with establishment mouthpiece Glenn Beck. On December 18, 2007, Ron Paul said 9/11 conspiracies are “PREPOSTEROUS” and “bizarre“.
